Mini tech day, informal, tomorrow 12-5, 1 pm at my house by Hamilton Mill (1 exit north of mall of ga). I'm going to show how to shut off a o2 sensor code by using witchcraft, and we're going to do some detailing.
Day will undoubtedly end at Scoops, the best little desert restaurant on earth.

Hmmm... depending on weather I might wander up that way.
You need to get Jason to come out for another helping of coconut cake:

That's awesome that you got a pic.
It's supposed to rain in the morning, but clear up around lunch. That's why we picked after lunch. You are, of course, more than welcome to come by Eric. But that's a helluva drive.

Yeah, it's a helluva drive, but I haven't driven the Miata in almost two weeks.
Anyone else confirmed?

Better question
How much "tech" is there on a car with only 12 moving parts ?

Kurt - don't forget Jeff, or does it not count since he has not yet taken delivery?

Well when 7 of them are not functioning properly there's a little. :D
Plus you have wind that big key on the roof to make them run.

am i invited to this?
i need to throw my new fogs in, and detailing? can we get water spots out?

Have a decent work load already, might be able to get to the fogs--depends on how fast stuff gets done I suppose, and how helpful people are being vs talkative slackers. Fogs are pretty easy, but I don't want to promise just in case.
I have no idea how to get water spots out.
Feel free to come. Bring whatever detailing supplies you can.

If anyone has damaged bolt extraction tools, bring them.

Day couldn't have gone better. 5 or 6 folks and a few cool cars including multiple mazdas and a tastefully modified late model Mini-S (brakes, suspension, wheels, basic bolt-ons).
Hopefully Chris' CEL will not reappear, and my 10 AE is freakin beautiful. We had some good chow and ended it all with cake and ice cream from Scoops.
Thanks for the company guys.

Sorry I didn't show. We were celebrating Britt's mom's b-day today, and I forgot about it until this morning. Oops.

Nice. If the car's gone through 2 drive cycles and the check light did not reappear, then it's likely that the repair is successful.
