For you and me, yes. For him, it shouldn't be. Or at least that's the impression a buttload of folks seem to have of the guy. Not trying to take anything away from him, he's an impressive driver for sure, but this video's a little exaggerated.

I'd really like to see what anybody with a shred of driving talent could do in a car like that. Impressive as hell, he has soooo much experience in cars of that magnitude. But I bet with a few hours in a car with that kind of power and that level of preparedness, we could be replicating at least a few of those moves pretty well.

It'll handle worse with a welded diff (essentially a locker diff) than it will with an open.

Then look for a used torsen. They have a tendency to pop up for sale used for decent prices.

Welded diffs are horrid.... don't even think for a second you're going to be able to get the car sideways.... because it sucks up all your hp. What? But don't all those drift guys have fancy diffs that lock up? NO!! All of those fancy KAZZ and Quaife diffs. still distribute power differently...they still send more power to one wheel over another which makes breaking traction and keeping it going easier. All you're going to do is fight your car and do donuts in 1st gear.
