What amazing deals have you uncovered? What will you be standing out in the cold for?

So far, I haven't seen anything to motivate me to do so, but if I were in need of a good new tv, I'd get this one:

What I find interesting is this year a lot of the retailers have started their friday sales early. The tv above is no exception, you can just order it now I believe, and not deal with the madness.

If I found a hell of a deal on a DSLR I'd stand out in the cold, otherwise I'm sleeping in. The best deal out is actually on Amazon for a Nikon D3000 and basic lens for $450 ($100 off), not bad. Otherwise I'm happy with the stuff I have. I might go later to see what's left and do some Christmas shopping.

If you sign up for sears' craftsman club, you can get the black friday price now--and then not deal with it on friday. :) Their email showed 4 different boxes at 50% off.

I went to the range to shoot the .40 a bit with my friend and his Sig P239 and ended up walking out with an FNP-45 for $500 flat. I wouldn't have splurged but it was an early model without the safety on it and those are hard to come by. Besides, safeties are only for those who lack trigger discipline. ;)

I'm also selling the FNAR for anyone interested. It's just not the direction I wanted to go in.

I should stop fiddling with this thing.

Whilst cleaning it and lubing up for firing tomorrow, I got a wild hair and thought, "you know, this thing is about the same size as the FsN..." I popped open the FsN case and sure enough, it's almost an exact fit. So I whipped out the trusty xacto knife, trimmed a bit away and voila, the gun fits snugly now and so do the mags (no trimming needed for those to fit). It was only making contact at the base of the grip so I shaved off that little wall since it didn't hold the FsN any more securely with or without it. Now I have a dual purpose case!

Sure as hell beats lugging around the small suitcase they package them in. As the guy who was ringing me up said, "we're gonna need a bigger boat." :lol: I may start trolling GB for a spare FsN case to use as the FNP's primary so I won't have to settle for a simple zip-up case that likely wouldn't accommodate all three mags, or be forced to only bring some of my toys out to play. That simply wouldn't do.:butt:

Built one of these back in high school. A buddy of mine rigged a system with a one way valve and some piping where the hairspray can mounted directly to the gun and you didn't have to remove the back cover to reload. He also rigged an electronic grill lighter to work with an old shotgun pistol grip.

That thing was a beast. I miss it.

Got new pads for the porter cable, microfiber towels, p21s wax, and a foam lance for the miata........after the repaint its going to be polish and detail city over here.

Oh yeah. I also broke up with my girlfriend. that was perhaps the best deal of all, no kidding.

Where are you going to put the two new mini's? when we droped of that last miata parts car you got it looked like your driveway was full then. Very cool that you did get two more though any plans for them yet?

I have gotten rid of some cars since then. I can always throw away some Miata crap to make room for Minis. :D I think one should be going to another garage anyway so I will make room for just one. I should be able to get it on the road pretty quick I think. The Polar Bear Run is coming up Dec 26 and if I am in town I need something cool to drive in it. ;)
