If you are participating in the Secret Santa (http://www.mx5atlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5348) exchange this year, this is the thread where you get to post ideas of what someone could get for you. General price range is $20-25. One post per person please as to not clutter the thread too much.
Good ideas are genres of entertainment, whether it be books, music, DVDs, or games, and t-shirt sizes.

Shifter knobs/ boots/ Mx5Atl t-shirts if they dont have one/e-brake handles/e-brake boots/ those stuby antenna's/ Turbo timer / carbon fiber dash bezel/ volt meter gauge since yata's dont have one/ Maybe some sweet decals/ JELLY BLade these things are asome for drying your car/ No Mar tool set for takeing out those Plastic parts like air vents..
Ebay and moss are your friend.
I think it would be hard to gift something other than a miata relaited part to someone you may not know well other than the fact they also own a miata

And if it comes with a shift pattern decal, I'll promptly drop it in a glass of soda for you! Free of charge!

All good ideas, but that's the point of this thread, so that the people who are participating can give ideas of what they would like, not everyone wants Miata parts. ;)

Fine...
- Medium t-shirts if someone finds a witty or car related shirt.
- I've had my eye on one of those AirHogs Havoc Helicopters ever since I got Mike one for Christmas last year. lol
- Nothing for my car since it's technically for sale.
- Want some XBox 360 things: Army of Two, Battlefield: Bad Company, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas 2, an "Intercooler", controller keypad, 3-month Live Gold subscription gift card
- iTunes gift card
I'll add more if I think of something.
huh?
Mike got me a shift knob last year, and it had the 6-speed sticker separate, well I dropped it in the glass of Pibb I was drinking as soon as Mike said "Be careful, the sticker is loose in the box." Many :lol:s ensued.

Eric's referring to something he did at last year's secret santa exchange...while extremely tired, famished, and with a migraine ;) We can blame all three of those things on the fact that he and wonton skipped lunch to help me finish my turbo install!

I'm sure "services" can be found within the price range. Nothing big, just a little something. Besides, it's the thought that counts.

No but Latvians are, and I don't think anyone would know the difference. Besides, maybe we could get a group buy. :D

Um, anything Miata related. If it looks like, goes in, amends to, enhances, works with, reminds me of, or helps me work on an NA I'll love it.
I've also got way too many t-shirts too.

Any of the usual car fanboy stuff, posters would be cool. T-shirt size Large for normal style shirts or XL for skinny floppy material style ones. Fitted caps I'm a size 8.

I realized I haven't thrown any ideas out yet! Here are a few:
* A rechargeable LED worklight. I'm sick of running the wheels on my creeper into the stupid cord on the light I have now. Suck!
* 15mm H&R Spacers - available for $30 from Cool Cat Racing here:
http://www.mx5atlanta.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5586
* Or, a voodoo shift knob would be cool:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Voodoo-Shifter-Knob-for-Miata_W0QQitemZ280430979141QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMoto rs_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item414afd2845
* Redline Oil Products - MT90 for the transmission, 75W90 for the diff. It's always good to have a few quarts of this stuff sitting around.
* I've got the "carbon fiber" radio surround on my NB that apparently came out of the 10AE cars. If someone could find the shifter surround that would be awesome! I got the radio surround for $15 on eBay.
* Speaking of shifters, the black shift boots on both my cars are a little ratty.
* A new dipstick - mine, like many others, has the ring at the top broken off
* Door handles - I just put door panels back in my track car, but they don't have handles. I need the ones without armrests - the armrests cut into my elbow room when I'm hacking at the wheel pretending I know how to drive:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Mazda-Miata-Door-Handles_W0QQitemZ260481957429QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMo tors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3ca5ef3e 35
* I have an NA and NB Miata, so any cool little odds and ends would be great. I have build threads for both of them so you can get an idea of what I have/don't have.
* NB center console - tan - without a broken hinge!
That's all I can think of for now. Hopefully that gives Santa a few ideas!

Just wrapped my gift... and by wrapped I mean I threw some paper and tape on it. Then the g/f told me it had all gone horribly wrong and rewrapped it.
Either way, this week is dragging by; wish it was Sat.
RotorNutFD3S
12-09-2009, 10:16 AM
 My g/f tells me I wrap better than she does, her response is always "It's going to get torn off anyway". I use gift bags most of the time anyway, I'm lazy like that.
Hopefully everyone will be ready by Saturday!!!
