5 series? Mazda's had some funky rotary powered 5's they've been playing with, hydorgen and hydrogen/electric hybrids.

wrong, it's a rotary/electric hybrid. electric motors make a crap ton of torque.

what I don't know is if the rotary is acting like a generator only like a freight train or if it's a 'synergy drive' like in a Prius. Would not be suprised if Mazda borrowed technology from the Ford Escape and popped it into the van with a hyrdogen rotary.
