as most of you all know about the monthly Varsity meet in Atlanta

i was just wondering who all was going this thursday!

maybe we could get a pre meet/ roll out of the miatas and go in as a group!

People tend to start getting there around 7:30. By 8:30 or so there's no place to park. Me and Paul will probably be there for a little while.

Personally, I hate that place. I like getting out and talking to people but that place is just full of trash.

the only way you get booted is if you park in the lower lots, im pretty sure of it. i think its the lower 3 lots that are the pay to park ones.

I will be there. Myself and another old fart. My first official meet with any of you guys. I was at MATG '08 and met some people at fontana on saturday. Some I'm sure are on this site. The other old fart and I drove up for the day. He has a '07 and a 90. Mine is a black 95. I'm up in gainesville. looking foward to seeing some of you.

Nah, still haven't payed. I might just let them FOD and not drive in Tenn. for a few years.:lol:

Still don't know if I want to go to the V... it's not too bad if you get there early and leave by 8:30 or so.

I feel you when i go i WILL NOT leave my cars side unless i have a close buddy standing there to watch it. I really just like getting together and making the drive there and back with all of my buddies

It's awful. I hate it there and refuse to take my car. We actually had to tell multiple people not to park in front of us and block us in. People were parking in front of other cars.

This meet is ****, really. I would absolutely love to do something else that night like meet up somewhere else instead for dinner and to just hang out.

The Gwinnett meet has the potential to be much the same...with the ricers doing 'drifts' in the lot, retard redneck *******s in pickup trucks jumping center dividers and doing burnouts, ****head civic and jeep drivers and their ******* buttbuddies & chlamydia infected slut girlfriends who booze it up, nigerian hoodlums in station wagons racing through the lot.....all combined with immature teenage reasoning and a seemingly typical average IQ of well under 100 doesnt make for a pleasant gathering of car enthusiasts......with some exceptions of course, there are a few cool people there. I know at least four or five. :lol:

I've never been, but based on what I'm reading, I don't think I'll ever go. I think a good gathering somewhere for a bite and drinks and just hang out is a great idea.

Agreed. I'm always afraid something is going to happen to the car. I feel like we have to keep it in sight all of the time and that's ridiculous. I even watch when we leave to make sure no one follows.

There used to be nice cars down there sometimes and nice people. Not anymore. Last week we could barely even find people to talk to and the cars were atrocious.

I would 2nd a meeting in another area of gwinnett. I'm south of gainesville about 2 miles from road atlanta and can shoot down 85 no problem. Maybe around mall of ga.

Car is broke and I'm going to Ga Southern for the weekend, otherwise I would be there. I need to get insurance on my jeep again, because between the miata and the jeep one would always be availible for use.
