A run this Sat or Sun - Nov 1st, 2nd?

So, I wasn't able to get in a run this past weekend and the really cold weather will be here before we know it. Is anyone up for a drive this weekend? Saturday? Sunday?

I think I'd be able to do something the following Sunday, but I'm pretty sure I have a baby shower to attend Saturday the 8th. Yes, I know.....a baby shower. It happens to be a girls/guys baby shower. Don't throw stones. :)

Well, I found someone who would like to join in for a drive this Sunday. So, we're gonna do that. The offer is still out there for anyone interested for this Sunday.

As for next weekend....I can probably do next Saturday the 8th but I need to be home by like 2ish....you know....for the baby shower.

I'll get some details tomorrow for Sunday's drive. I live just behind the high rise and Target at Perimeter so we'd probably just shoot up 400 and hit the snake and whatever else up there. Maybe grab lunch afterwards. I'll post as well as pm you when I have details.

369 is the first traffic light on 400 after you pass exit 17.

this sunday is the east cobb meet caffeine and octane at the avenues. also be very caution up on the loop there will be heavy GSP patrols going on all weekend 2 weeks ago gsp killed a guy on a harley. last sunday a guy on a sport bike was killed. plus all the leafers will be out in force looking at trees for somestrange reason. also also its cold up there so watch the cold tires. most important be safe and have fun.

Had a good time in the mountains today, only saw 1 cop up there. He turned around at the end of our run and followed us but didnt do anything. The weather was beautiful, after this, i really want to do the dragon.

I was up there today as well. Great day for top down driving. Saw no police all day, a bit crowded but not too bad. Brasstown Bald was packed.

BTW Wolfpen gap rd by vogel state park is by far my favorite rd up there. 12 mile rd between 19 and 60

Agreed, wolfpen gap is the best, i like the road going up brasstown bald too. Were any of you guys going up there around noon? I passed a few miatas in a group when we were leaving.

I figured since some of us are gonna do a snake run or whatever next Saturday, I'm planning to do a Cherokee run Sunday morning. I think I have one buddy that is planning to meet me. So, if anyone is interested, I'll be at the QT at Sixes and 575 at 8am Sunday morning. Take 575 North to Sixes Rd. Turn right and it will take you to the QT. I may extend the drive over to Jasper and maybe even to 180, but we'll see.
