You know this kind of stuff drives me crazy.....if you are capable of driving a car you should know that your mat is sliding around or at the minimum know how to turn the damn thing off in an emergency. Most cars I have owned potentially have the same issue...the stupid mat slides forward because most people " pile" into their car with feet first and push the mat forward. My wife does it in her BMW and sometimes I just want to shoot her for the way her mat gets pushed forward. My two cents!

Ok that is still some bull****. If you're dumb enough to get killed because of a floor mat then you shouldn't be behind the wheel. If you're pedal got stuck wouldn't you have a quick peek as to why? If you have time to call 911 then there are a whole host of other things you should have done first.

I assume that they're now sure it was the floor mat that did it.
