I'm an outsider to American sports and having watched both pro and college (remember i go to uga), there's only one winner for me and it's the 3 letter league beginning with N and ending with L. The corruption of the athletic organisations in charge of college teams pisses me off too much to enjoy the sport. The NFL may not be the most kosher organisation in the world but then it's not working with unpaid college students who don't live a normal existence.

Next week is a big game. Divisional rival then we are on the road for 6 out of 8 games against good teams and we have one of the tougher schedule in the league.

its gonna be brutal. 11-5 can easily be 5-11

+1 and don't forget the fact that the NFL is much much faster and bigger. Half the Heisman winner do not make it big in the NFL or make it at all. I just think it is more fun to watch.

I'll take college football over pro football any time. The pros are a bunch of overpaid whiners... sure, college players are getting paid somehow under the table, but the games are much better to watch and you never can predict what is going to happen.

I was at the UGA/SC game saturday night, the dramatic changes in the crowd's energy from the highs to lows and back to the highs was awesome. I've never been to a pro game that comes close to that kind of energy.

To each his own on what they support. Im glad people are fans of something. It's fun. I'll never say the pros are better than the Ncaa cuz its really not, its what you like.

Growing up in LA in the 80's, Im a die hard Lakers and Dodgers fan but I also support the Braves and Hawks here in ATL. My football team of choice is the falcons... live and die... mostly die. It's fun for me to go to the games, the energy was tremendous when Vick was playing and that kind of energy came back when we got Matt Ryan and Michael Turner.

But to me its being a fan of something, its fun.

Yeah I think Matt Ryan could have potential to really do something good with the Falcons if he can get supporting team around him. But i agree with BFH, I'll take college ball over pro anyday.
