I'm currently rolling on the stock A-package wheels (the steelies) and I absolutely HATE how they look on my car.
Anyone on here have any 94-97 Semi-hollow or hollow spoke wheels they'd like to sell? I'm only getting them till I find the wheel I want in the correct offset/width.

Steve are there even any pictures of your car up yet? Or have I just missed them?!

No, there are no pictures. If some don't show up soon, I'm going to go take some spy photos and leak them on here.

Call this guy: http://atlanta.craigslist.org/pts/890373052.html and see if he has any. Might want to snag that soft top too, looks like it's in pretty good shape. At least from the picture anyway.
I might call for that red hood. I need one with no dents in it whatsoever.

I'm on the phone as I type this!
**EDIT** The guy has a set and is asking $275 with tires.

In about a week, I'll be selling some great condition NB 14" alloys with really fresh tires (at least 90%). They're 14x6", 40offset, about 12.5lbs, and have Fusion HR 185/60-14s. I'll be looking for $200 for the wheels and tires.
Here's what they look like, with and without centercaps (which I'll include):

:wtf: They better be some amazing tyres!
Scotty, I may be interested in those center caps if you sell them separately. I think they would fit my 15's at least.

I have a set of NB 14's I'll sell you for $100 :)
MeFryRice
10-23-2008, 01:57 PM
Are they the sports?
metalman
10-23-2008, 02:07 PM
Sports?
Theyre not 15's...theyre 14's as pictured above on the green car.
In fact, you can have them for $75
One has a scrape on the back side edge...which cant be seen from the front, and one or two center caps are missing. I'd run them without and use chrome lugs.

Damn undercuttin mofo!
LOL, just kidding. I'm in no rush to sell my wheels so I won't be heartbroken if you buy Metalman's.

 Yours have tires...theyre worth more.
There are tires on mine but...I wouldnt trust them...and one is blown.

If they were the 15" sports then I would take them.
metalman
10-23-2008, 03:59 PM
well...15's bring quite a bit more then that. :)
$250 for a bare set isnt unusual...or sometimes more.

Steve, did you ask about the soft top too?
MeFryRice

I asked about it but it has already been sold.

I know man, I'm not thrilled cause I'd like to be able to drive my car to work one day but I really don't want to take it out knowing my luck, a damn hurricane out of left field will freakin appear.

Exactly, I woke up with intentions of driving the new toy till I opened the garage.

Yeah, I had no idea it was going to rain today. Apparently other people knew though. Now that I don't work outside anymore, I really don't care.
MeFryRice
10-24-2008, 12:24 PM
Me either. I just hate having to drive in the rain cause then everyone thinks they need to drive 10-15 UNDER the speed limit.

 alot of people do Steve, especially on the highway! Considering how many cars here aren't really roadworthy, the slower they go in torrential downpours the better!
RotorNutFD3S
10-24-2008, 12:40 PM
I was driving down 29 this morning, and it was raining decently hard, but no torrential downpour, and idiots were driving with their hazards on. That is the stupidest thing ever. What dumbass ever advised that it was a good idea to do that? I'd like to hurt them.

Driving with hazards on really piss me off. At least they're noting they are in fact hazards to the road. I like to call them panic lights.
RotorNutFD3S
10-24-2008, 12:55 PM
I'd like to shoot their tires out so that they indeed have a reason to be using those lights. Hazardous and on the side of the road.

He's not got room in his car to get them. I'm going to give you a call later as we'll be up in the "area" later and we'll have larger transport. :)

It is not that hard to fit 4 rims in a miata, even easier when they are 14s as two will fit in the trunk without a spare tire. That leaves one for the floor board and one for the rear shelf.
^^There see you even get to keep the passenger seat open. Or you can be like me just remove the passenger seat for moving. BTW you can fit alot of crap in a miata without a passenger seat but you do get some really strange looks from people when you DD a car without a passenger seat.

Eh, to hell with people's strange looks.
However, IIRC correctly, he had LB with him, so it would have been a little more difficult.

That is why you put the one on the floor board, screw leg room. You should have seen some of things I have made my passengers deal with.

Yea but that is why I always give a disclaimer to any girl I date about my cars. It normally goes something like... I had the car longer then I known you..lol I just tend to make up for it other ways :naughty:,
being a good cook helps.: :D

My g/f fortunately understands that I loved cars long before I loved her, so she's usually ok. But I generally try to make sure that I don't make my passengers too uncomfortable anyway. They're usually freaking out already because I'm going too fast or something like that, don't really pay attention to what they say over the sounds of the turbo.
Definitely helps!!! :D

Stuff like that doesn't bother me!
When we got the iguana we were in my car and his tank wouldn't fit in the trunk. So we had to have the top down and Steve held it in his lap!

haha, making your g/f comfortable does help. Everytime people b***h about been uncomfortable, I just remind them to be happy my r6 got stolen or they would be riding B***h on that instead.
