I am testing waters to see how much I can get for my roll bar. No I didn't go broke lol. I just got a INSANE offer for a FULL new cage versus adding on. Cheaper then adding on, so I would have to get rid of my bar.
It's a custom made bar, weld in, but will be cut out with plates still, can either be re-welded in or made to bolt in, I have a welder now and can weld if needed. It's SCCA approved for track days and such. Fits under soft top and I am sure hardtop. Has harness bar. Will post pics. Never used in the way it's supposed to be of course lol ;)
JUST SEEING WHAT I CAN GET, CAN'T SELL NOW OR THIS WEEK. But in the soon future. Will post a pic soon.

My buddy is looking for a roll bar, still gathering funds. Pictures would definitely help. And do you have any idea what you'd like to get out of it? This is his budget I'm playing with. And having it bolt in would be preferable, unless you want to travel with that welder. :)

Is that a weld in the main hoop cross bar right near the left side of the pax seat?

Yeah, but it was put on right and passes SCCA tech. Previous owner cut the harness bar because he was tall and needed to recline the seat back.

Hmmm... don't really know what to offer for that. Don't want to risk lowballing you. Looks good though!

I will start the lowballing at $150, because I guess someone has to!

Don't feel bad, that's what I was thinking too, somewhere between $150-200. Only for the simple fact I'd have it cleaned up and re-powdercoated and then figure out the installation.

^That's about what I was looking to get really. So if nobody else offers higher then $150 and you want it lmk. I plan on ordering this cage in the next couple of days.

You willing to weld brackets on it or some weld it into a car at some point and time? :)

FYI - NA and NB rollbars are the same. The only main difference is an NB rollbar lacks the harness bar on the rear bars to allow for the glass rear window to fold down. If you want a harness bar on an NB, you can use a bolt-in harness bar or a harness bar mounted in between the main hoop. Otherwise, most use the harness tabs.

Good info there Eric, I was wondering what the difference was.
