Initial D Night

Anyone fancy getting this started? I'm feeling a little burned out having played it so much recently but it could be a good bi/tri/four weekly event. Star Time Entertainment over on Holcomb Bridge Road would be the venue on either a Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday for heavily discounted racing.

Me as well. Is there absolutely no place around Atlanta that has more of the machines though? I can deal with taking turns but if a bunch of people show up it'll end up being like autocross. Might only get about 3 runs each...

We'll have to do some research. It's just such a pain in the balls that the other two machines are knackered. I heard Mall of Georgia has them, not sure how many though.

Mountasia off of 575 has two machines up and running the last time I checked. A lot closer for me than HBR.

mountasia only has one properly working machine. the other won't read the initiald cards. plus that place sucks they kicked me out of the gokart track. i guess bump drafting 12 year olds isn't playing nice.

Its just an arcade game that has some realistic drifting. Quite a competitive game, and also quite the workout aswell. I have never sweat playing a video game in my life until initial D.

I just wanted to let you guys know... you can play initial D for free monday nights at Andretti's. A bunch of subie people go there every monday night, and besides great discounts on racing they have free video games all night (9 to 12pm).

Yes and half-off on the races that night as well. It's the only time you can actually drink and drive and have some fun. Although I don't recommend it nor do I personally do it.

No, they do id you at the door. But they're not very thorough so you should be fine.
