Set of (4) Koni Yellow Sport struts assembled with Apexi 195/95 Springs. I purchased them used from a friend bout 6 months ago. They've been in my garage untouched since. 1 tophat is damaged from seized hardware during their de-installation. Everything else looks fine. No evidence of oil leaks/blown seals. Get a new hat (they're cheap) or re-use one of yours.
Use them as-is (after replacing the 1 NA tophat), or get some stiffer springs and maybe some NB hats. My plan was to use them with some sort of coil over perches (either Koni or Ground Control) and stiffer springs... but in all my indecisions and inactions I ended up getting Tien coil overs.
Best price I see anywhere is $500 + shipping on the shocks from Goodwin.
$200 cash, local pickup at my house or possible delivery to airshow on Saturday.
oh **** I need these.... I'm getting the wheels Friday tho so I'm somewhat broke now.... :(

Yeah the Koni's alone are making me contemplate mixing up my setup! I'll have to pass for now, I can't really afford the time/effort to mix up my suspension again right now. Good luck with sale, it should be quite easy!

These dont equal Tein Flex...they dont equal them in price either, not even close...so are not comparable really. Koni shocks are great. When paired with GC coilovers they win many autocross events etc too. They dont have fancy things like pillowball top mounts etc as Tein Flex. They can work quite well...it just depends on your goals/budget. I really dont know anything about these springs.
Bens price is quite cheap. I have sold many similar shock/spring setups for $350-500

Let me assure you that the latter approach will do much better for you than the former.
And no, they are not Tein or Ohlins territory, however Konis with perches and some decent springs (QA1 or what have you) are a very kick *** combination.
I have these same shocks on mine, and love them. If I had the extra cash to spend, I would buy them for an extra set when mine wear out.

Konis FTW..... damn good products...
Yeah, I had Koni coilovers in HS when I had my GSR and I loved them!
So does that gain back the points I lost for the 'sportfags'? lol

Eh, don't let them hate on you for the wheels. They do a damn good job for a cheaper alternative. Sure, some people have had problems with them, but nothing in the human world is perfect. Would I trust them with track use and such, no, but on a daily driver, definitely. You curb them and you replace one for like $75. (When you really want to have a nice set of wheels, do what Mike does, have like a million sets and choose one for each day of the week. :P ) When you're going into a mostly controlled environment, drive on the nicest set you have. When you're going to work and back, drive on the cheapies. That's how I look at it anyway.
Yeah thats my take on it. If it was my only car, sure I'd buy something better. But for something just to look decent enough to drive around, they're good enough for me :)
I'd rather buy the 'right' parts for the STi and do it right. I'm just playing with the Miata

My defense is I didn't pick them. Although I haven't changed them either. Oh well...

Sweet. Now I could be really mean to Ben and tell him he can't have the Teins. But he could hold my parts hostage, and that's no good.
