Good thread idea! :)

Soldier Kanji on my left upper arm - It has a story, but I don't talk about it much.

If I was really into tattoos, I'd get this cause I'm a boost freak:

I like other people's tattoo's, but I just can't think of anything that I like enough to have on me for the rest of my life..

I have a few things i'd want that have enough meaning.... but I don't know if I could justify the $$$

I've personally never been a fan of tatoos, like sawyer said, there's nothing that really means enough to get it put on my body.

I'ld like to get something put on me but I really don't have anything that's got enough meaning behind it. Of course I could be easy and just have my football team's crest put on me but that's hardly original or personal.

A friend of mine was drunk in P.C. and decided to get "you name" tattooed on his right ***-cheek.

I'm really not into tattoos. Most people I know (not all so don't get offended) that have them have something that no longer means anything to them or wasn't well thought out. I know people who have symbols from bands they liked 10 years ago that they don't give a crap about anymore, I know people that have signs and symbols that really aren't attached to anything permanent in their lives... just random stuff. Not really my thing. I'm far too critical of well... everything I do :lol:

I am afraid not friend. I got it when I was 18
I rarely show it off, for obvious reasons. But, I have been know to show it at inappropriate times while drinking.

I have a cross on my chest, which I don't think that will get old. And then my arm is a tribute to my Dad. The praying hands and roses are on his headstone, so I can't see that getting old either.

Well yours having a good meaning behind them. Most of the time, people get birds, flowers, stupid stuff.

I agree that a lot of people have totally random stuff that's meaningless. My wife has a 4-leaf clover that says "For Luck and Love," whatever that means. She's not even Irish. It's just something she did when she was 18.

I've been playing bass for 14 years, and I will hopefully never stop, so I think my tattoo is relevant. But now that I have it, I'm starting to want more tattoos around it. I don't necessarily want sleeves, but I think I'll eventually get more work done.
