they offer discounts and pay per unit ordered, may be worth a look to help even if just a little.

Wow, at $50 apiece, they better do something for you.
Anyone have one?
Cool deal they have setup for websites:
CG-LOCK "GIVE BACK" PROGRAM
A qualifying web site will be given:
* Two CG-Locks to give away to their members,
* A unique coupon code,
* A CD with photos, logos, videos, car magazine reviews, professional driver endorsements, safety studies, test results,
* ...and much more.
Using any method they choose, a web site can educate their members about the value of the CG-Lock and provide their members and readers with both the coupon code and a link to the CG-Lock web site.
If your members order from our web site and enter your unique coupon code, the reader will receive a $5.00 discount per order thanks to you specifically.
In addition, you will receive a donation of $5.00 per order that can be kept, applied to the operation of the site, or used to offset track day or show expenses.
Is that easy, or what?

Dunno if we have a big enough 'market' for that to work. Though, the CG-Loc does work very well, I'll say that.

My only fear is the pyramid scheme vibe that website has. Do they really work? I never really noticed the lap part of the belt being particularly loose.

They do work. But so does synching your belt tight and locking it before your run... And I can't see the pyramid scheme working so well for a site this small. Maybe later, but not yet.

my cg lock worked well for two track days, then the little handle thingy popped off...

It's easier and safer to lock your belt using the self-locking mechanism that's in it.

I've never been able to perfect the technique for locking the stock belt.

Maybe you need to cut back on those $2 cokes! :lol:

Had a cg lock on my last car. It worked well, better than locking the belt and pulling forward. It is hard to do that for a taller driver that needs as much legroom as possible. Never had a failure with it.
they are a reputable company, don't see a pyramid deal.

I like mine just fine. Check around on the prices. Most of the miata specific vendors have them (flyin miata and others.) I cant remember where I got mine but I think it was under $40 shipped
