Post up your work environment......

I'll start it off.

Here's a close up of my JDM Rays flag I had clamped to my laptop base when I got into work this morning. My boss picked it up for me during his trip to Cali this week. :D

Yes, that's a rabbit with a cigarette in it's mouth on top of my monitor

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v633/Jenndawg7/noname4.jpg

My view. I usually park my car right where I can see it but today I parked on the first row closest to the building in the covered part. Its safe, no one can park next to me.

And then I cleaned my phone's lens....

Penguin that Mike gave me. He chills in the corner up against the gray cabinet. I also have a ton of my photographs on the backside of the black cabinet

Here's my cube. Doesn't have much in it yet, but I just moved into it, so I'm still trying to get organized. Besides, this is the first office job I've had since I was 18, so not a lot of office type goodies yet.

Someday I'll take pictures of the various assembly and weld lines here. That's where all the interesting stuff is at!

I'll get to add more model cars, etc once we get into our new office in January.

RotorNutFD3S

I haven't really brought anything yet because there have been talks of moving stuff around. I just wish they'd hurry up and upgrade my damn 1985 telephone to the VOIP phones that everyone else has.

Yeah...A&P, but we like to be called AMTs now:P

Very surprising considering that the space is only 15 ft wide! When I saw the initial drawings for the upper level that we added, I was concerned, but it turned out very nice.

That and they really frown on pictures being taken of their area, or the assembly lines. When we are in those areas, we're not even allowed to be holding a cell phone, so can't even sneak a picture. It'll have to be on a day where I work way over, and there's no one in IT.

I changed my desk around and got comfortable since we're not moving around in the office as originally thought. The storage compartment above my desk makes a nice display shelf. I'm going to bring some more cars out of storage, poor little Enzo all by itself.

Short verison... I take the models for the game and put a skeleton system in it and makes sure it looks good when moved in to any direction or shape. Then import everything into the game engine for the animators.

Yea I don't get the new quad cores. All the level designers just got some. I am at the bottom of the chain so I don't get the new toys, but my buddy in level design was one of the first and he can run two levels at the same time now without the computer even trying.

Granted they did go out and grab the $400 dollar wacom for me so it is all good.

It is directly across 17th street from Twelve. If you start the time lapse (cool feature by the way) you can see Twelve in the picture until the BB&T building goes up and blocks the view of it.

Side note: at my previous job, I did the landscape, hardscape, and swimming pool designs for 4 of the apartment/condo projects over there at atlantic station.

Scenes from my office....evidently I work at a very dusty toy store!

In addition to toy cars, I collect 1:87/HO scale semi trucks...or used to.
My family has owned a trucking company since the 1920s. The United Van Lines truck in one pic represents one aspect of their business (they have since disposed of) where I spent many
a painful hour working in my youth. :D

It's income restricted housing. You have to make under a certain amount to live there. I don't remember what it is though, I saw those listed when they first opened. They also have student housing.

I looked at some of the regular apartment at Atlantic Station when they fist opened but they were just too small! I was too attached to my 1430 sq ft place in Buckhead to move to a 700 sq ft in Atlantic Station... though it would be really fun to live there.
