Yep. :jawdrop:
Although, the style bar, wheels, cheap steering wheel would have to be changed for better equipment, it's still freakin' cool!

Why put all that time and effort into the motor then slack on the important stuff, safety?

Same question I asked myself, but I am not the owner, so IDK.
The seats look like cheap "racing" seats too, but couldn't tell for sure.

They have that "shine" which = cheap IMO.

Right, which is why I make that assumption, but still, a V12 in a Miata is cool as hell!

Thats pretty freaking cool, ive seen tons of v12 swaps into Z's, but never one in a miata.

I wonder how it handles....

RotorNutFD3S

Depends on if he cheaped out on the suspension or not...

MeFryRice

Well after seeing how he skimped out on the safety part, I wouldn't expect the suspension to be all that great either.

Yep. That's what I was getting at.

More than likely stock from looking at it.

So all in agreement that it probably handles like ***, say Aye.

AYE!

Yeah...probably handles like an old Dodge station wagon... but I bet it runs like a raped ape in a straight line

If it can gain enough traction. I don't think the daisy's will be capable of doing this...

I'm sure some of the "cheaper aspects" will be upgraded once the engine and drivetrain is sorted and tuned.

MeFryRice

Lets hope so but why waste the money on cheap parts now?

RotorNutFD3S
10-08-2008, 07:51 AM
Unless they were already on the car to start with... which is a good possibility. I just saw a Miata selling for real cheap that had a bunch of "tuner" parts on it, such as the style bar, cheap racing seats, etc. Why not buy something like that when you know you're going to hack it up? :)

MeFryRice
10-08-2008, 08:05 AM
That's a good point and I'm sure he bought it cheap. :D

Someone post the engine pics from when he was building it:)

That's all the pictures in the mt.net thread. Maybe there were more when he showed it on m.net. Never looked. Can't see 'em at work anyway.
