Turbonium! Looks pretty cool. Little bit of body roll through that corner though. I like the stock Daisies, definitely a sleeper look.

With a turbo under the hood, that car could not be begging more for some suspension work.

So hows the performance increase on the car. Did you dyno the car yet?

Looks like a clean install, I need to get a ride in a boosted Miata one of these days.

I dyno'd it a little over a year ago and had 202hp at the wheels. I havent done much with it since then. The kit started out as a greddy added an intercooler and bipes and an AFPR. Has Racing Mazda down pipe and exhaust, no cat, the exaust is 2 1/2 inches at where the cat should be and after that it opens up to 3 inches. The car even with the turbo is still very loud.

202whp is very impressive for a 1.6L engine. How's it feel in terms of reliability?

Well you see it's like this, when the turbo install was done it was about 10:00 or so at night (this is important) a friend was helping with the install in his shop and one of the last things we installed on the car was a MBC. We had both worked a full day at our jobs and worked on the car at night. After every thing was installed we took the car out for a ride. it was dark and cold (I think it was late March of 2006). The car felt normal until about 4k when it felt like it had a rocket assisted take off booster on it. and it pinged like a son of a gun. we did this a few times before we felt this probably wasn't good but I drove it like this for about two weeks because it was an absolute blast.
What we found that we had installed the MBC backwards. I figured that there was at least 17-20psi of boost going into the engine. Never effected it. Right now the car runs about 12-15 psi of boost with no ill effects. No pinging either and since the radiator was replaced with a stock one the car dosetn run hot either.

So I would agree with Kurt on this and say this is a tough little engine.
