Tonight and Sunday

Just trying to get an idea of who all will be at The Varsity tonight and Caffeine and Octane on Sunday morning.

I'll be attending both and will have the MX5Atlanta business cards with me.

Tonight, I'll be driving my buddy's gray Scion tC so we can advertise it being for sale and so he can drive his new Miata and show it off.

Not gonna be able to make it to the V but I might be up for the caff and oct on Sunday morning depending on Saturday night.

The only reason i'd be going to the V is to meet up with a guy to get new ballasts. Should be at C&O on sun though. I wonder if Petit will have any effect on attendence.....

Only reason I'm even going tonight (because we all know how much I hate IA and the Varisty meets) is to help my buddy Sean out.

And I'm betting Petit is going to have an impact this weekend, but hopefully it will still be worth the 1 hour drive to get there. Last month was awesome!

The V sucks, its too far to go to meet with ricer fanbois and eat horrible food.
CC is well worth the drive. There are some real rides at that meet.

Well, so far, we have a good size group coming from down here for C&O.
Varsity was as stupid as I remember it being, there were maybe 3 or 4 cars there worth paying attention to. Oh well, better than sitting around in the house!

Yeah. It was something to break the boredom of sitting at home and it was good to talk to all of you. I didn't realize that was Sean, who I had been talking to at the least meet when he still had the tC.:whistle: Def. got a great deal on that Miata though!

Oh and when we walked up to our cars to leave, one of those motorcycle riders was leaning against LB's car. WTF??? I hate disrespectful people. This will be the last time we go to a V meet.

That's one reason I never take my car anywhere, people have no respect.

It's nice to stand around and talk to people but I spend most of my time watching the car and the people around it so I'm rarely 100% in the conversation. So many of those people just seem shady to me and I don't trust them.

It really isn't that bad if you get there early. Those ******* bikers need to seriously GFO.. they have their own fag meetings all over atlanta on different nights, leave us alone. Hell, they are worse then the idiots who were doing burnouts at the V for so long.

Yeah, that's why I stopped going to the Varsity meets. Great to talk to people, but also too paranoid to leave my car alone. Sucks because I remember a time when those meets were actually really cool to go to. All good things must come to an end though I guess.

Yeah..I was less than impressed with the Varsity meet. There we're a few cool cars there, but it was way too rowdy. Doubt I'll go again. I'll stick with Gwinett and Athens. They are worth the drive.

We need to be the founders of our own meet which will grow into something spectacular. It won't be Miata specific but seen as everyone here is cool, a cool core will allow for a better foundation than a core of rice (aka IA). Time for step 2 of mx5atl domination :lol:

Here's pictures from today's meet at C&O. Good turnout.
The videos that are first in line are of a 1100+ crank horsepower Mustang. He said that he was running 18psi but had room to go for more. I'd believe it!
