what color to paint/ powder coat my wheels??

ok i am looking for ideas on what color to paint a set of 14" daisy wheels. my car is the 10th ae so its body and top are blue. i do have access to a friends powder coating set up so i can go that route( just will take a lot longer since he is always busy hard to use his stuff) or just paint it with rattle cans. i was thinking black with a polished or chrome lip but everyone does it, and i thought of just doing a chrome since the car has chrome accents on it anyway and the stock wheels are chrome. well just figured i would see what everyone thought, dont want it to look rice or tacky but i think the daisy wheels are boring the way they look now.

Gold or bronze? :cool: Well I'm going to be painting my next set of wheels gold again. How about white? That would be pretty pimping. In fact, I think I might check that out myself. White wheels on a white car :D

i thought about that too, a friend of mine said it would look like the sti with its blue and gold wheels which does look good. if i did bronze it would have to be flat bronze. thanks for your input, anyone else.

I am with Duffelbagger on this one...Daisys on an AE will look a bit mehhh...regardless of color.
Why Daisys? Why 14's for that matter?

Seriously though, I still want to have a 10AE one day. I think something in bright silver,white or black/hyper black is the only way to go. Blue would be too much blue, gold/bronze would look nice from the outside but nothing else on the car is that color and it would look out of place.

yes daisy as in those 14 in stock ones for the miata. the reason for them is i got them for free and i am just going to put a tire with more grip on them compared to the stock 15 in wheels that are on the car now. when i bought the car it hd new goodyears on them so i am going to keep those as a daily driving set and since the 14s are free get some faulkens on them for autox ( if i can every get a weekend off work) and for mountain runs. i could leave them as is but figured a lil time and a lil money i could make them look better than what they are now. they wont be on the car full time ever and honestly i might get rid of them once i wear both sets of tires but for now i am bored and what to do something to the car and this is the cheap something i have picked.
