If you could have one car of your choice what would it be? It can be anything you want but it has to have some sort of practicality about it. Money no object, for me it would be one of these:

Not sure what colour though, would like one of each

 not particularly practical and falls more into the race car catergory but given what your history of daily drivers look like, I'll let it slide for you.

Since I'm already capable of living with a two seat convertible, I see no reason not to continue the trend.

Practicality means a two seater sports car for me. And just to note, I'd love to have a Murciélago LP640 Roadster, a Ferrari or two, a Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Z06, but there are two cars that stand out most to me because they are completely out of the ordinary and very rarely seen, and I like to be different. So here's the Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition and the Mazda Furai:

while i would love to have the f1 car or the me412 that i posted pics . if i had the money i would more than likely get a nismo Z-tune just because its one car that has enough nannies to keep itself on the track when my dumbass is behind the wheel. what good is a fast car is you arent good enough to drive it you end up like the pics of the new gtr that someone posted after the guy totaled it.

Three years ago I was in Monaco during the Rallye Monte-Carlo. A guy in his 40's was tooling around the Grand Prix circuit in first gear in his silver Carrera GT. He passed my wife and I heading up the hill toward Casino Square, just as another guy in a silver Zonda came around the corner and started heading down the hill. They both slowed to a crawl and looked each other over as if they were going to fight - my wife was quite amused.

They were actually having trouble selling those babies, even had one person return one. They're a bit extreme for the usual Mercedes owner, especially seen as there are quite a few people who try to buy the most expensive Benz and new Benz for image rather than use. I got told about one guy from Germany who bought one here and got it flown other the Nurburgring.

Personally, I feel BMW has fallen from it's roots with their new line of cars. They have become more evolved into the luxury and gadgets then their motorsports roots which is a shame. This has caused me to lose interest in them all together.

I accidently posted that last night under her sn.

Anyways, we were there this past weekend and I saw the GT3 RS and never wanted to leave. Such an orgasmic car and honestly, although they have it for $20k over sticker, the price wasn't too bad compared to the $175k range that I've come across lately.

I would like to drive a 135 coupe, 335 coupe and look at very late model E46 M3's. And then of course explore the aftermarkets for each. My other considerations would be a Supra, Elise or Exige and anything else new and exciting that comes out in the next couple of years. I would like to test drive a Solstice Coupe, as well.

I personally think the 1-series looks like a Hyundai from the rear and it's not exactly cheap for an "entry" level BMW. The 335's have def. grown on me with time and they are decently moddable although it's a shame that the 135i is faster (same brakes and motor). The E46's have def. dropped in price since the E92 has been released.

I would love to have a Supra or and Exige. I've driven both and they each have their own personalities. The Supra can be a dyno queen and the exhaust tone is very distinguishable from the rest of the crowd. The motors/trannys are damn near bulletproof. The Exige is an over-grown go-kart. I know that phrase has been used a million times but it's the truth.

JennB
10-02-2008, 02:32 PM
I think the 125 looks like a Hyundai but the little appearance bits on the 135 make it much better. My concern is what I am comfortable driving. I HATE bigger cars. I think the 135 might suit me more but I guess I'll see when I start shopping.

The E92 doesn't do it for me. I'm sure I'll see a good looking modded one on the streets sooner or later and change my mind but the E46 is just.. droooooooooooool

There has been a very small leak recently of the newly designed RX-7. It's beautiful to say the least. Performance is way up as it has a larger 2-rotor n/a engine. (The pictures you see on the net right now of the orange/red one or the silver drawing are not it.)

I'm going to hold onto the MSM for a little while though so who knows what they have planned for the 1 or what other cars will be on the market before then. I may finally be on the way to getting the MSM where I want it so I can be happy with the car. I like the car a lot, I wouldn't have bought it if I didn't but it was a big change to go from a car that was heavily modded to exactly what I wanted to a stock can that needed a lot of work to be what I want the car to be.
