tweeters in Bose NB

I'm going to be replacing the speakers in my NB soon but i don't know what size the tweeters are. Anyone know?

id say around an inch, if i was at the house id go take my door panel off and measure it for ya. but its the same size as the mesh on the door roughly

Is bose or non-bose, they ar different impedance and I think different sizes, I think.

Yeah, impedence is much different. If you're replacing al lthe speakers, you have to either replace them with other BOSE stuff, or pull the BOSE head unit and amp out (often referred to a BOSE-ectomy on miata.net)

well every thing bose is coming out so i don't have a problem there.

Most aftermarket components sets have a 3/4" or 1" tweeter. You, or a professional installer, should be able to make them fit with little to no modifications. Sometimes, you have to get a little creative...a bit of backstrap, hot glue, super glue....or something similar.

Polk Db are a pretty good choice.

I might suggest looking into Arc Audio. Might not find it on the internet though. You might have to find a shop locally.

never heard of arc audio. how much do they cost and sound in comparison?
