...and stated they took a part off the car.
I have no control over what you do with your outside actions and don't want any. But do NOT associate the board with any such actions.
If you want to play pranks on people go for it but do not use mx5atlanta.com business cards to do so. There is no need to create increased animosity between parties, especially using the boards name.
Keep it civil.

For the Attention OfGot ya.
In that light, how do you know that Simon is not Full Of ****?
Because really I can't see how or why anyone would actually care.
Furthermore, if a part were allegedly taken, would it not be given a name (IE my lug nut was stolen)? WTF takes "a part".

lol You caught me the one night I didn't have any on me, and I had some (read 500) at The Mitty for you the next day and didn't see you there.
Got nothing on this situation though.

I'm glad that this thread was created.
And Ben91, I can vouch that it was not a "FOS" situation as well, considering that when I saw him, I was wearing my MX5 t-shirt, i was yelled at to "TAKE THAT **** OFF" and promptly shown the card.
Personally, I feel, regardless of how much anyone hates another person, messing w/ a man/woman's car is TOO FAR. period.

I don't mess with cars. That's BS. Don't mess with mine either. Take it out on me, and kindly allow me to retort. Don't be suprised if my rebutal is rather extreme.
Life is too short for drama and hate.
That is of course unless your religion, ethnicity, or political views are different than mine. :naughty:

Someone yelled at you for wearing our shirt?
This is seriously ******* disappointing. I hope whoever did it is pleased with the results because I'm not. If you have a problem with the way someone is behaving why not talk to them in person?
Ben I said part because that's what it said on the card.

It was only Simon that said for me to take the shirt off, because he had recently found the card, and was still rightfully pissed.

Or if not that, why not just leave it alone? He's banned on here. Let it die already.

No. Wearing a shirt isn't the problem. From what I read it sounded like Johnny was being hounded for wearing the shirt after the incident.

this whole situation pisses me off to no end. what the **** kinda stupid *** middle school bull**** is this? first of all, if the person who did it is who think it could be, i dont think he would have taken it NEARLY as lightly as simon did and he knows it. in fact, it doesnt matter who i think it is. anyone who has any pride in their car would be pissed and rightly so.
whoever the ******* ***** *** peice of **** is that did it should speak up and admit to doing it, as well as tell simon what they did to his car if anything at all.
and to the mods: its hard as **** to refer new members to a site with more bull**** and drama than importatlanta, at least on that site people can take jokes and theres no real life drama outside of the forums. for the most part its mature adults who know how to act. this site makes me LOL harder and harder every day at the bull**** that goes on.

because the business card said "try to figure out whats different/missing/added to your car". we didnt find anything missing, but if something was taken it would most likely be something less than obvious.

Take a breath Jesse. No one has advocated the actions that took place. I'm livid that mx5atl is being associated with such **** hence the original post.
And really this is a pretty quiet board in terms of daily bull****.

It has the same reasons to piss him off as if it were you and happened to one of your friends Steve. Don't tell me you wouldn't be annoyed if someone left the same **** on LB's car.

This whole thing needs to seriously die. This is probably the first thing in a long time that even qualifies as drama on this board since simon got banned, and it's bs.
At the same time I think someone going around spreading bs and talking down this forum and it's moderation because they can't accept responsibility for their actions is just as immature, but of course those who support him won't see it that way. For someone that doesn't take the internet seriously, he seems pretty intent on keeping the issue alive by provoking those he knows he'll get a response from. Response was gotten again. You would think that someone would figure it out by now.

1. Dont mess with peoples cars, its just plain wrong.
2. Dont take internet comments/fights into real life.
3. Be civil and respectful.
The card on simons car happened, theres nothing we can do now to fix it. The person who did it does NOT have to speak up because it will just cause more drama which may lead to other things.

Couldn't have said it better myself.
This sounds like one of simon's friends wanted to **** with him and put that card on his car as a "joke". Seeing as how nothing has been taken from his car, and since he freaked out and wants blood, his friend that did it, kept his/her mouth shut because simon has gone off the deep end.
I can see that he's upset, but you do the math. People on this board don't seem to be e-thugs or think this place is a car gang "blood in, blood out".
Until something really is missing off his car, he should just stfu and question his closer friends that may of had some of these cards instead. Sounds like whoever did it, got more than they bargained for from simon.
Didn't he piss off the peachtree miata folks? Maybe one of them did it.

At first I would be annoyed but if it's obvious that they were only joking with me then it'd be no big deal. I wouldn't make it to the point to where I'd walk up to every Miata owner and tell them not to join this board though.
We did have a similar situation happen to LB's car the first meet she took it too. She had left her top down, just like everyone else and came back to her car to leave to find that someone had thrown their cigarette butts in the passenger floorboard. IMO, that's more extreme then finding a card on your car.

Anyways, it's obvious that who ever did this is not going to admit fault so instead of letting the drama continue, close the threads related to this issue.

With the sheer number of cards that have been handed out, the thought never came to someone that maybe someone picked it up off of another car/off of the ground, wrote on it, and put it on his car?

We can speculate as much as we want to, but like Casey said, it's done and over with. Let's just leave the message as don't mess with someone else's car and don't bring bad publicity to this forum! And if you're playing a joke, think twice to make sure it will be taken that way, and not construed as something worse.
