What I did this weekend

So what's been keeping me occupied Saturday, Sunday, and Monday? Let's just say it started out as a smoking piece of 33-year-old, and after a lot of lube and some tight fits, I'm in a pretty good mood.

1965 Rambler American 330, with a three on the tree and a 195.6 cubic inch inline six. Me, Dad, and my brother have all been working on it like mad to get it back up and running once more. Head was at Goza being milled and rebuilt, now we're one oil line, one wire, an oil change, and a coolant flush from running. Cannot wait!

Spent last night adjusting valve lash (that's a trip), reworking the carb, checking the throttle linkage, redoing the thermostat housing to stop a leak, and running a new oil return line. Car will start but idles at WFO for some reason no matter what adjustments are made. Gotta keep working on that carb.
