okay folks, i drive a 1992 nissan sentra and after much money saving it has come time to put some balls on the car. i'm thinking megan coilovers and a set of really sticky tyres. i also want to replace all the suspension bushings since we're getting close to 170k miles. unfortunately i have no idea as to what i should replace or what i should replace with.

i know this is a miata forum but i figured i'd try since most of you folks seem to know a ton about cars.

As far as bushings, I recommend Energy Suspension. Top quality parts. http://www.energysuspension.com/pages/nis2.html <-- At the bottom of the page your car is listed and you can figure out which kit(s) you want/need to fit your specific vehicle, their Master Kit is usually everything you need for the suspension components. Engine mounts, trans mounts, etc. are usually sold seperately. If you shop smart, you can find good deals on eBay for these kits, just ensure you're buying from a good seller. I got a hell of a deal on mine.
My other suggestion for bushings would be to find a set of spare parts to install them in ahead of time. That way you're breaking the job up, so when it comes time to get under the car, all you're doing is swapping parts out. Makes life much better. :) Unless you don't mind the downtime, because it's definitely a full time weekend job if you do it all at once. Look in to Zerk fittings as well, so if and when your bushings start to squeak, you can shut them up.

Yeah, good seller it looks like as well. Normal prices I was able to find for him was about $140 plus $15-20 for shipping, so $129 shipped from eBay is good. Every little bit!

x2 on the ES kits. I had one for my old 240 and the kit was awesome. Some of those bushings take a lot of labor to install, but they are generally worth it, especially on a car that old.

Is your Sentra a SE-R? I've owned a lot of Nissans (S13, B15, B14, Z32, 280ZX), they're usually really good cars. The B13 SE-R is one of the best ones (I'm a little partial to SR20s).

I used to own one as well. B14 SE-R wheels with 205/50/15 azenis/nx2000 front brake upgrade, you can get the calipers/rotors from napa and return your calipers as core. they dont know the difference.

This one is really strong, they remind me of a front wheel drive AE86 on steriods.
