not for me... check you user setting to see if you setting got messed up.

Set on eastern time with DST detection. I don't believe it is me.

Hmmm seems okay for this user. I can never tell which is which, we are no longer in day light savings are we?

We started daylight savings a couple weeks ago. Right now it is 8:43 but is showing 7:43 for me here. Not a big deal. I just happen to notice it.

well you posted is showing 8:43 for me. So I am really thinking it is something with your computer or settings.
:::edit::: I just checked and my setting is for eastern time -5:00 GMT with automatic DST also.

Very weird. You have the right settings.
The time is good for me on the same settings.
