Club Photoshoot

We're gonna have to sort out a club photoshoot at some point. What locations do y'all like? I have an SLR camera I'm still coming to terms with, and I'm sure a few others here do.

I just moved up to a Canon 40D and would be happy to shoot the group pic, regardless of who "officially" shoots it, I am down for the group shot (with enough notice on when/where). Anyone around today and want to help me install springs and sways?

I just moved up to a Canon 40D

Ah, I would be up for helping out on the install but right now I am knackered from my own install. Do you need a spring compressor?

I may be able to drop by if I don't have any commitments to the lassy.

The 40D is awesome! So far, I only have the 28-135 kit lens and the 50mm 1.8II. I am switching from a pentax system, so haven't had a chance to build up the lenses yet. But the speed, ease of use and image quality the 40D produces is fantastic. Definitely worth an upgrade to, especially if you're already invested in the Canon line...

Anyone got suggestions on favourite places? What would you prefer, a city/urban style shoot or something more mountain based? The mountain's could involve a possible tie in to a mountain run :D

Bringing this thread back to life. We need to choose a time and a place. Lets plan this for in a couple of weeks of advance. I want to get as many people to show up as possible.

I think Saturdays are a pretty safe bet. I can do Sunday's aswell, but there might be some church-goers here. Maybe we should start using the calendar feature on this website :lol:
