Hi everyone!
im currently looking for a wheel and tire setup, but i have a few concerns..
1) the offset, i know what it is and how it works but not sure if the offset i want will fit or leave me looking like sportmax wheels and have 3 inches hanging outside my fender. the current wheels im lookin at are the Axis Oldskool 15x8 with +25 offset

2) im not worried about rubbing the inner fender liner as much as im worried about hitting the fender, i dont mine rolling, but i want to stay away from pulling them.
i wanted to know if anyone has aay pics off the wheels i want on a car, ive seen a few on clubroadster.net but those terds dont like to respond.
anyways im open to almost any wheels so show some you might recommend who knows, maybe youll see them on my car ;)
thanks!

Have you looked into 6ULs? Very nice wheels, and engineered for Miatas specifically.

By the way, my friend has the imitation Oldskools on his NB. However, for size reference, it won't help you out because he got the 16s.

I'm also looking at getting the 6ULs next, want something nice, lightweight, and that will fill out what I'm going to do to the body next. :) Let's just say an 8" wheel isn't going to cut it.

I wouldn't get 6UL's just because they are so popular..
But that's just me.

They are a nice wheel but like Sawyer said, everyone is running them. I've been trying to find a wheel for future NA but having a hard time finding something different due to 4x100. :(
Eric, what are the offsets on your friends wheels? IMO, they'd look a lot better with a lower offset.

Wheels are primarily about style and the overall looks of your ride.
For some, wheels are about being different and getting attention etc.
For others, we just like what we like.
My .02...I wouldnt get too caught up into the 'being different' thing. As soon as you plunk down big bucks for some imported wheel some cheap company will knock it off. Just buy what you like. Dont worry about the being different or any attention ***** factor.
I dont like Sportmax wheels....not because everyone has them but I just dont like them.
I dont like zero offset wheels on a Miata. 6ULs are nice on SOME cars...but look like crap on others. Personally I dont like them on NAs...but I think they look good on NBs.
I run 8 spoke minilite inspired wheels....because I LIKE THEM....not because of any popularity, "rairity', or other factors. These are all just my opinions. :D
My wheel moto is this...run what YOU like, and what fits your budget...**** what others run or think about them.
As for the wheels in question, they can look decent. If I wanted to be critical of them I'd say they tend to cost a bit much for a 'copy' wheel...other then that, if they suit your budget and you like them, rock on dude :)
For comparison, 25 offset should push the wheels slightly outward from my gold Rota RBs...which are 30 offset. The black NA with these wheels in gold sold on IA recently should show what they look like as far as in regard to fenders etc.

Hmmm I AM wrong on the black NA....those are Drag wheels...which are different offset.
