Looks like some Back to the Future or KNight Rider **** right there. I am still partial to the MoTec dash :)
Looks pretty sick none the less!!!

Hmm I'll pass on the Luke Skywalker interior. :D
Give me an oldskool spartan & analog British sportscar type setup and I am happy.

To me the whole electronic approach doesnt work well in a Miata, it looks 'added" and like it 'doesnt belong'...however, there are platforms suited to it. Well, thats my opinion. :D

True. That's one of the main reasons I never added a GPS unit in the Miata. The flip-out screen I have is enough in there, and it's hardly ever open.
That setup doesn't look too bad in the MR2 though. It'd really look good in a newer Supra, with that long, swept down center console they have. Of course, sitting in it could probably be compared to sitting at the helm of the Starship Enterprise.

I think the back to the future stuff would work well in a Caddy STS.
It has the right lines for it. I would rock one too. :D

I had a CarPC for a couple years. it was straight gangster. I ripped it out one day for some maintenance, and the hard drive and DVD quit working, Something on the IDE channel fried them... I ended up scrapping it all since I needed the money for a new engine. I may do it again, but I doubt it.

It's a too much IMO. If I were to replace my gauge cluster, it'd be for a Stack cluster! :D

cool... but ill stick with simple upgrades... thats just overwhelming.
i posted up in the A/V section my miata project.
its coming along well... i cant even hear the wind when i have the top down... and thats without the light weight sub i might add by polk.
then ill do some nice MOMO accessories (steering wheel, shift knob, seats, belts, etc).
keep it classy not over done.
