So.... I might be buying a house.

Yesterday my mom told me it was time for me to move out (gotta make room for her newly adopted black child - a whole 'nother story) and I was browsing apartment listings and whatnot.

Then I noticed some of the houses for sale in the area and realized that you can get a decent small house in a good neighborhood for like 30K! Throw in the 8K first time buyer tax credit and you just bought a house for 22K + whatever they throw on top (I've never bought a house so I don't know how this **** works).

Also, I may be moving to Newnan. Looks like the huge construction boom that preceded the market collapse has left the place riddled with decent houses at discount rates.

This is the story all around Griffin. During the building boom we had 15-20 subdivisions pop up. Then the middle class went and overspent and bought huge houses so all the small subdivisions went cheap. Yep. I'm doing a lot of research on my next move. ATL has it's good points and bad points but I'm ready to go somewhere with more positive growth. Especially in-town living that is safe and has good transport. I am not a suburbanite in any way. I can see wanting that if you have kids or like to have tons of space and that's fine but I'm a "walk to what I want to do" type.

I don't think that bike video is too crazy. Lane splitting/sharing is completely legal in a lot of countries and you'll see it all the time in California. People in many countries, especially in Asia where the traffic is insane, ride motorcycles specifically because they can get places so much faster than cars. Sure, it looks insane on camera but millions of people do it every day, completely legally. And the rest of the world doesn't drive like us. I've been flung all over the back of cabs in so many countries... it's just part of life in different cultures.

I'm looking at the speed he's carrying through traffic in the beginning for one thing. That's enough to really hurt someone else on impact as well. Not just him.

As for the lane spitting, that does seem more likely to just hurt him. I'm just surprised at the amount of speed he carries through some of those tight sections. It's mostly personal risk, but this guy took the speed to a much higher level than most I've seen.

I uhhhh, I think I know why you're xbox died. Although my friend is on xbox #4, and that's not counting the times he sent an xbox back with issues and had it returned "fixed." This is his fourth, different xbox. So they still have issues.

god i hope not my fiance would be pissed. this is my first 360, i have had it for 2 and a half years i replaced my dvd drive about 6 months ago. now it red ringed. im just pissed because i have had no connection to the internet since i got hit by the surge that took out my ethernet port about a month after i got the dvd drive fixed i have needed an update to play forza and i havent had the cash to get wireless. i saved up ordered it yesterday... f****r just red ringed day after
