Did you work there all year? Do you have your last paycheck stub from 2009? Were there any 2009 and 2010 wages mixed on a paycheck? If you have your check, worked there all year and have an accurate YTD on your last check that doesn't have any 2010 wages on it, you can use your check stub to do your taxes.

And it's the IRS you would report him to, not the DOL.

Ok, so I just got to assess the damage a little better. It caved in the front drivers side bumper smashing the parking lamp. The drivers side headlamp is stuck at about 25% open. The driver's front fender is brushing against the door when it opens. And finally, the entire driver's headlight has shifted over so it rubs against the hood when I lower the hood.

The good news is that when I opened the hood and got under the car a little I didn't see any OBVIOUS bending in any major structural brace.

My biggest worry is that somehow the hit bent the front frame of the car a little and since my car is a 97 that means totaled which means very little money to replace it.

I know its hard for you guys to say anything without seeing it but do you think a hit strong enough to do that damage would be strong enough to bend anything important?

I'm hoping it's just getting those panels replaced and probably a new headlamp unit.

BTW: Even though my car is pretty knackered I still plan to get all the stuff I've been telling everyone I'm going to get. Worse case scenario is that my new Miata will be supercharged :D

If you don't see any bending in the frame rail/tray in the engine bay and no obvious bending at the core support, you're probably ok. But it will require getting the fender off to know for sure because there's more under there.
Sounds like your panels got tweaked pretty hard though.

They did, that's what's scary. I just hope I'm freaking out over nothing. Tomorrow I plan to get under the car and take more of a look. I'll check out the stuff you from below. Yeah, definitely don't remove or move much. The best way to look from under, jack up the side of the car it happened on, take off the wheel, and remove the fender liner. Then you can see more under the fender.

What is wrong with the clutch that you got to do such major work on the hydric system. Most I have ever heard going wrong on a Miata is mc or slave going bad.

im basically losing clutch pressure when i have the clutch to the floor. i think its one of those one in a million type problems. i personally think its the master cylinder which has gone bad (seals). but while im in there im going to replace any culprit. the symptoms seem to point at the master or slave screwing up. i have clutch slip when i shouldnt, and i know its not the clutch disk itself. i already replaced the clutch myself and everything was done right. my dad says its the slave cyl adjustment, but i think the whole system needs redone. the worst part is when i bought the car the PO paid a couple hundred on the slave cyl, which means this is an ongoing problem. if the slave/master doesnt make a difference i'll be replacing the clutch as well. the car is just acting temperamental when it comes to the clutch. so it is either mc or slv cyl at this point.

So you haven't touched the slave cyl. or checked it, but you're going to just assume it's the whole system? Let's see...... $40 slave cyl and 15 minutes vs. mc, slave, lines, remove and install.......

It sounds like the PO replaced/rebuilt the slave quite a few times with continual failures adding up to $$$... I'd come to the same conclusion as Drew did.

However, Drew, take the slave out once more, remove the piston and seal, and check the inside walls of the slave. I've found hardened residue inside on some that was tearing the piston's seal up over time.

i could only get my hand on the side of the trans to get it off and it was covered in fluid. the seal is shot and the housing looks like someone took a hammer to it.. i'd rebuild it, the thing is simple but im going to replace it since i think i can get one for free. all i have to buy is the master.

EDIT: im not going to replace EVERYTHING just master and slave, thats all i need to do unless i spot a problem along the way,

I hope it's great. I was a little hesitant at first because I'm a lot more familiar with Canons, so I didn't know where the D40x fell in Nikon's line, but it appears to be a good DSLR and the customer reviews seem to be pretty good too.

He said it has a CAI, 3 tiny door dings in passenger door, and a tiny tear in one of the seats, but came with a boot. :) The guy that owned it is currently going to school to be a mechanic, and the father said he kept really good care of the car and took extremely good care of it. :) Can't wait to see it in person!

What a damn day. Work was a challenge this week to say the least. Then tonight I'm headed to Marietta to look at a Bugeye WRX, I'm about 10 minutes away from getting there when my dad calls and says he's rolled his Blazer onto it's side trying to avoid a deer in the rain, just down the street from our house. So I whip a u-turn at an exit and head back, at a faster than normal pace. Meanwhile, Kris is heading up with a truck and Britt is headed over with tow straps. We all get there and it just so happens there's a tow truck already there and he pulls the Blazer back onto it's wheels. Even though it hit a fire hydrant and a tree, no glass broken or busted tires. The hood and fenders are pretty messed up where it hit the tree. He's ok though, which is great!

Then I remember that he picked up my new Nikon from the Post Office this morning, fortunately the guy packed it really well. It works just fine. *whew*

Just took My new-to-me rc10t3 truck for a spin. It's aleady lowered with foam racing slicks so it's a perfect street truck, geez, this thing is fast. Roads are damp here still and it was throwing up ~6ft rooster tails!

Although, being she skipped from 8th grade to college I guess thats not real surprising.
Turns out a bunch of people in her class bombed it. Teach said they would work in class to get everyones grade up to passing. What made her mad is she got 100% on the homework then a big fat F on the test. Sounds like test trickery to me.

Yeah...its a long story, but true.

I start my kids in school 'late'.
Reason, there are physiologic reasons that give kids an advantage in seeing, learning, concentration etc when they start school at age 7-8 as opposed to 5-6. I was treated to this same thing as a kid. I was always 2-3 grade levels ahead of everyone in my class. Obviously by HS age a year or so doesnt matter. It has more to do with the start up at the beginning and the subsequent head start.

Anyway, I started her in school later, meaning she'd finish 8th grade at age 15+
She barely started 9th grade homeschooling, then after age 16 made some adult decisions that ended in her producing my first grandchild. So, being that she is quite bright I simply advised her to take the GED, which she flew through, and then enroll in college.
A close friend of mine did the same path with his two kids. Both were home schooled through 8th grade, then went straight to college. One just graduated with a nursing degree and the other is in med school. ;)

Dont ever believe the bullsheit the NEA would have you think about education, homeschooling or otherwise. ;)

I'm in the conference room at work with my boss and fellow colleagues to discuss our plans on how to generate business for 2010/11. The phone rings which my boss answers on the Polycom speakerphone system. It's my dad. I go to my desk to answer the phone and I can still hear our conversation so I tell him I'll call him back from my phone. His response "I'll just call you later tonight, I was just calling to see how your job interview went on Tuesday". Everyone in the conference room heard that, including my boss. I was so embarrassed and had no clue as to how I should to respond to that.

I never went to the interview as the more I thought about it, the more I realized it wasn't for me. I won't say the name of the company but it was more of a drive and less money.

That's pretty much what I told him. The interview was on Tuesday and I ended up staying late at work with him that day to work on his Miata. He was cool with the situation. He said he'd be sad to see me go but understands that people need to do what is best for themselves.
