They moved the show to Sunday now at the Panera off of Roswell Road in Marietta.
Great turnout. Wasn't able to get shots of everything that showed up, but I sure tried. That is, until my camera breathed it's last for the day.
There are 162 pictures and 3 small videos, so click the link. :)

Heh. Well that explains a lot.

We should meet up there Sun Oct 5, look at the cars, then go for a ride.

Wow they're some impressive cars indeed. What was it like seeing all of them in the metal? Any case of too much at once and they start losing the effect?

lol Went looking for it yesterday did you?
Sounds good though. I'm definitely up for going again!

Simply amazing, although some of the owners are jerks. There was no loss of effect, it was more like trying to take a picture of one car, and nearly snapping my neck to see what was driving in next.
If you look closely at the interior shot of the new Audi R8, the keys are in the center cupholder. There was temptation to take it on a joy ride. lol

Yes, you would appreciate it very much!
The only thing that sucked was getting up really early on the weekend, but it was worth it.

I've been meaning to make it to one of these for ages now, and finally got my sorry butt out of bed in time to catch the show. It was huge! There were easily 150 cars out today. I had my dad and my daughter along, so it was a nice family affair. I'll definitely be going again.

I hope next months meet is bigger. It seems there wasn't quite as many people there as normal and they started leaving earlier then normal.

I don't mind waking up early if I have something to do. I'll be sure that Sawyer and I make it next month! :D

Yes, I do know that. I saw the car when she brought it over to the bonfire I had. lol
I was merely suggesting a simple drive with boost can cure almost anything.
And I'm having very bad withdrawals...

Boost definitely helps when I have a bad day at work or school.. The drive home puts a smile on my face! :D

I'll take you up on that ride offer, I miss boost. lol

Steve, I think I trust you enough to let you drive my car after it's rebuilt. That should be real enough for you I hope.

I appreciate the offer Eric! You can ask Sawyer, I don't drive my cars hard so you have nothing to worry about! :P

I never really thought I did. I remember from forever ago you driving your car at Starbuck's in PTC, never really struck me as immature with it. :)

If i had the moneys, i'd do a n/a 20B swap.... mmmm 400rwhp ftw.

How about a boosted 20B? x:cool:

Albeit, still in an RX7, but was fun to build and drive. That's a credit card on turbine, just for size reference. lol

Doppelgänger
09-09-2008, 07:26 PM
Oh that would be fun no doubt... but the available power from a well built n/a 20B is more than any Miata should ever need. Hell, p-port it and go for 500+ buahaha

RotorNutFD3S

Next project car will be either a LSx powered or rotary powered NA.

MeFryRice
09-09-2008, 08:09 PM
^^ I would go for a rotary before an LSx......

Either powerplant can be turned into a beast, but something about the sound of a 3-rotor.... it has the ability to make everyone withing earshot to stop what they're doing and turn around....because they'll have no idea what the hell it is! It has the most unique shrill.

One day.... i will have one....
