New to the Miata Family

Hello everyone. I've been messing around with the idea of getting a Miata for a while now. But now its a definite yes after my first year of autocross in 2011 and seeing how a small *** car like these can destroy. I currently drive an 03 Eclipse so it would be nice having a car i can actually get aftermarket parts for.

i had a friend, who may still have that body style clipse.. yea, i tried looking up parts for him and really all i could find were DYI's and just APC type catalog parts. I like the power band of my buddy's clipse, it's 1000 higher rev line than a 302SO it's nice and that extra dsm rpm helps im sure... but i was not thrilled with the handling nor the mechanical feedback. the gear box also seemed fragile... getting into an MX5 will be a whole new world. get a for sell sign on the clipse, and get a Miata. then - dont even look back.. only fondly in the future hahaha

i plan on keeping the eclipse cause it is a pretty awesome car for what it is so i can park one and work on it but still have a way to work.
