So I just bought one of these NA things I believe from a gentleman on here from dublin.

Since I am a member of 240atlanta, importatlanta, and another forum from the area. I would join this one as well since I am most likely going to need some techincal experience with these quarky buggers.

I have already been lurking about finding write ups and fluid amounts\types.

So... What is going on in here?

I had an STi, I sold it to buy a house... lol

My SN on all forums is exactly the same, so if you have seen the SN on another forum it is me.

I had one of these...

Yes those are 245s all the way around.

Then bought this.

It was awesome, I loved it, but then I bought a house with a VERY small garage...

So I bought a miata, one of the reasons was so I could put my car in the garage of my house. I have to fold the mirror in, but damnit it fits in there.

Well the one I bought already has a massive front sway, tein s-techs, alil timing advance on it. Before I hit the mountain, I want to do some SS brake lines and some better pads on there.

The car was taken by a bad person with a rattle can...

I plan on painting it fairly soon though, basically paying off christmas then paint. The stripe on the front I believe is vinyl, so that should be to bad to get off. The wife and I are thinking bright orange.

Welcome and congratulations on the purchase! The previous owner posted on here so you can check out some of its history if needed. From what I remember he did some solid mechanical modifications.

Bright orange would be the tits.

Welcome! I feel like I was just looking at that car in the for sale forum, sounded like a good car. And real men only paint their miatas in magenta.

Welcome. If that's a vinyl stripe you might want to consider a replacement hood from Mazmart, or one of our local breakers, Miatastuff and Metalman, that vinyl can be next to impossible to get off. I was luck in that my stripes are paint. That's a solid car, the wheels are pretty lightweight ones that Tire Rack came up with for Spec Miata guys, only about 13 lbs. Some really good mods that I remember. If you are missing the soft top, or it's in bad shape, check with David Lunney (Miatastuff), he usually has a few on frames for $300-500. That's far easier than doing an actual new top, only takes 30-45 minutes to swap.

Nah it actually has a top already, the only thing that is missing from the top are the tensioning cables. I retucked the front corners the other day, so it should *crosses fingers* seal alright for the time being. It doesnt really leak air at the moment, which is usually a good sign.

This was the most solid cheap miata I could find, and it came with all sorts of goodies. I am VERY happy with the car. I would like to slap the tard that rattle canned it though.

It actually came with 2 set of wheels, the ones in the pictures and some of the factory hollow spoke 14's. I have those lightweight ones with the slicks on, and then some daily tires for the 14's. The only issue right now is no low profile jack, I am going to have to go for the good ol peice of wood on the ground trick to get it a slight bit higher so I can get my jack under there.

Sexy redline fluids going in tranny and dif tomorrow.
