Finally signed up, been a Miata nut ever since I could afford them, got out of Fiats and never looked back. Well, never bought another Fiat lol. I've been through ~35-40 Miatas, owned every year of NA's, I've had a '94R, a '94M, '95M, '96M, 10AE, and tons of everything else. I'm currently at 6 Miatas in the stable right now, and trying to thin the herd a little. About to post up my '95 CSP car for sell, but wanted to be sociable and come by here first :)
I live at the foot of Fort Mountain in Chatsworth, GA, I've met some of the guys doing runs before, it's a beautiful drive.

Hmm, may have to steal that for a signature :)

A little more about me, I've dealt with just about every level outside of turbocharging, I had a '96M that started with a M45/JR supercharger, then went to big boost pulleys, then went to MP62, then to big boost, then intercooled, then backed that into a big ole' rock at the Crow Mountain Hill Climb in '06, then bought the $2003 GRM Challenge winner V8 Miata. I've had various stages of bolt-on's on the different cars, love the bullet-proof engines. My wife's (I say that to make it easier to get away with) Miata is bone stock engine wise and has ~250K miles on it. Can't beat them for being able to run forever when cared for properly!

That's FrankenMiata at Crow Mountain Hill Climb in October. My V8 car is in my avatar, no pics of the '94R or the '92 track car in progress, or my wife's '95.

I kind of like the looks of your track car! Stickers make it go way faster, right? Welcome, I only wish I could have a collection as large as yours.

Actually, they help keep the kids occupied while you are doing other things to the car :) The car is a strong runner, but the gas tank started deteriorating, and I didn't feel like tackling the swap since I don't have a lift. Took off the goodies (that's why they are called bolt-ons!) and sold it. It was a hail damaged salvage title car that had 4-5 different colors on it, so a few extra stickers just added character. As did the "Woo-hoo!" painted across the top of the windshield :D

Yep, I've got a '95 montego C pkg. car that I'm ready to part with, and a '95 track car as well. The '95 track car is in the classifieds section, haven't put the other car in yet. Montego Blue, leather, torsen, cold A/C, cruise, power windows, aftermarket stereo, KYB AGX shocks with Vogtland springs, new clutch/pp/throwout bearing ~1K miles ago, good top. Front bumper cover has been replaced, and wasn't painted well, so has some places where it is turning loose. Synthetic oil in engine, Redline synthetic in transmission and diff. Engine is stock, gets ~30 mpg around town, on 14" 7 spoke stock wheels, $4500 obo. Waiting to clean it up to get pics, just haven't had time lol

I think it's around 244K. I'm pretty confident in these cars, if it runs out well, I don't care about the mileage :) I was told that a timing belt was done at ~215-220, but have no proof. Shocks and springs only have ~3-4K on them. I'll get some pics this week if he is interested.

alright, I know he's kinda timid about how mileage roadsters which I can understand but I've been trying to convince him our motors last forever if done correctly lol. he stepped out but when he gets back, i'll tell him and see what he thinks. thanks!

Wow...I'm broke with just one of these bad boys! Well...the six kids don't really help the bank account either. I'm lucky to have any toys! Welcome to the madness, my friend.

Thanks everyone! And BTW, the '95 Montego only has 204K on it, it was FrankenMiata that had 244K on it. When you have too many, they all get confused :p or maybe I get confused  So, should have been ~175-180K on the timing belt. I know it was supposed toy have been done ~20k before I got it, and I can't remember exactly when that was :D
