I have a friend who is close to 400lbs...hes a BIG dude, from head to foot. Was once a heavy weight boxer years ago.
The thing I like about him is that he is never sensitive, whiny, or *****y about it...he KNOWS he is big and will even tell you "hey I am way to much of a man to fit in just one of those seats/chairs, I am going to need a couple, or a man sized chair"...and he says it with a smirk and a smile, with a sense of humor, always putting others at ease. If a flight attendant told him he needed two seats he'd just say "Oh youre right about that....maybe even three!"

I don't know what I hate more, the fat ***** or the fact that Kia didn't stand up and say, "Look, when we design a car it has equal weight distribution. i know you arent the smallest dude but you arent morbidly obese or even obese by any means. i doubt that you being in your car changes the alignment badly enough to ***** about (hell, anyone being in a car will change it slightly, thats why race cars are weighted or do an in-car alignment.).

my father had a thyroid(i believe could be wrong) problem that led to alot of weight gain, he simply accepted it for a good long time, but a few years ago after retiring he went out and did something about it. joined the ymca, weight watchers etc etc, and over the last few years hes lost over 120lbs and is frankly in better shape than hes been in decades. Not to mention with his new health his medications have dropped to nearly nothing. So even those with medical problems causing weight gain you still have control over it, but you need to become strict with a diet and exercise regimen.
