Go ahead & make fun of my screen name now & get it outta yer system. I've had it since 2000 & that's before the stupid movies even came out. I started out back then on a motorcycle site because they are my first loves. I have a 2002 Yamaha FZ1 & a 1979 Yamaha RD400F. I've had the latter for 20 years & it's a constant source of grins when it works right and grinds (when my teeth are grinding together from being so upset) when I smoke the engine from riding it too hard. Enough about motorcycles. I have a 1993 turbo miata that I absolutely LOVE to drive. I haven't had any four wheeled vehicles that would be considered "performance" oriented so this is really the dog's danglies to me. I really want to get around to fortifying the bottom end of the engine so I can add a larger turbo & more boost. The car is fun right now but could really use some more horsepower. The handling is absolutely outstanding. Anyway, I have more projects than I can shake a stick at...or afford...and DEFINITELY more than I have time to work on. I really look forward to talking to & meeting some people from this site. I'm a member of the miataturbo.net site but just learned of this one & can't wait to get to know everyone. I work too much to post a whole lot but every now & again I have some time. Thanks for reading my long winded intro! :p

Yeah, but I'm not anywhere near cool enough to have those skinless lambo style doors...way outta my league. I hear that those add at least 10 HP across the rev range. :lol: I didn't build this car, it came with most of the stuff on it when I bought it. The guy that I bought it from works @ the Ford dealership doing paint & body work so he did the paint job but the guy he bought it from apparently did all the engine, turbo, & suspension work. It all works okay but its a DIY kit & some of the work is not as clean as I would have done it. I didn't pay much for the car so I really can't complain. This way I can drive it as is until I scrape together the coin to do things the way I would like for them to be done. Main goal is add some horsepower. This car has a tiny little turbo on it & it doesn't make near the horsepower most of you turbo folks here are probably getting.
