Install new top on frame and not just complete used top assy swap I presume?
If so, I think you will find $250-350 to be 'normal' from those who do that kind of work.

There's a guy down in my neck of the woods that has a pretty amazing upholstry shop here in town. He did one of my tops for $200! Not only did I have my car back the same day, he also threw in a free carpet shampoo!

DIY save some money if u have the choice i did mine with just someone helping and took an afternoon or two
