I've been there. It's in much worse shape than the picture shows. Sucks, it was probably pretty cool a few years ago.

No... it was down the street but you can still see it on google maps. Well, it's still there but it's in really bad shape.

How often are the Sonic meets and on what day(s)?

It was called Recreation World and it closed about 10 years ago. It used to actually be in pretty good shape up until about 3-4 years ago when a bunch of vandals torched the remaining structures and dumptrucks started illegally dumping everywhere back there. I have been back there on the tracks with cars. It's fun and very scary as there is NO room for error. Poor place... i used to go there as a kid :(

Probably a good bit. Several sink holes have opened up in the parking lots, which would mean a good bit of work to fix them. The main building is mostly burnt down, the tracks have fallen into near disrepair and the mini-golf area is extremely grown over. The biggest project would be cleaning up the property, rebuilding wouldn't be far behind though. Since it has been abandoned so long IIRC it's owned by some bank. There is a big sign near the enterance with a number to call.....
