Last night my wife Karrie's water broke and she's only 32 weeks pregnant (our son was due the end of September). So the baby is going to be a good bit early. She's staying at the hospital until the baby arrives while the docs monitor her closely for infection and signs of early labor. They also have her on steroids to help the babies lungs mature quickly since he's coming early.

Wow, I didn't know you guys were expecting--Congrats.

I was born 2+ months early, 31 years ago. Spent a few days in an incubator, but everything turned out just fine. Medicine is better now than it was then.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. Just got off the phone with her and so far everythings going fine. Her biggest issue is getting woken up every two hours to get yet another needle stuck in. I'll be going to visit her tonight.

I'm at the hospital for the night, mom and baby are ok for now. Probably won't get any new info until the next ultrasound tomorrow. She's had three in just as many days, holy $$$$$. :lol:

He was born at 7:29 tonight. Both mother and baby are doing great. He is 4 pounds 9 ounces. Hopefully we can take him home in a couple weeks.
