Does anyone else have any problems with viewing attachments?
Whenever I click on one, it flashes for a millisecond, then disappears.
I have to click it a bunch to make it flash a lot so I can get a general idea of what the attachment looks like!

It hasn't always done this. Just for the past 3 weeks, maybe?
I'm using Safari if that makes any difference.

Have you got any pop up blockers or avg or virus protection software running?

Sawyer

Nope...

Are you using the default theme?

Sawyer

Yeah, default theme. I found out I did have a pop-up blocker on, but I turned it off and it didn't fix anything! :(

I had this issue. I cleared my cookies and temp internet files. However, I'm not familiar with Safari except on my iPod, and it doesn't have those options.

Try clearing cache and cookies. Closing the browser application. And then start it up again and try.

Cache cleared and browser re-opened. No change...

Posted up for some help in the VB forums. We need to find out if this is exclusive to you or other mac users too.

I'm going to have to log you out and log in as you to see if it's something on our end or yours. I'll have to change the password, I'll email you it so you can get back in though.

I had something like this happen to me also. It seem sometime if I click weird on the attachment it would flash up and then disappear. It doesn't happen all the time, but it kinda like it tries to load the image and then notices a new click off the attachment. Those telling it to close the attachment. Happens to me every so often.

OK, so I was looking into this. There may be a VB issue here. If I click an attachment, it will open the window, but the picture does not load. Click out of it and try again and it works.

There must be some setting that's been adjusted for something in there over the last few weeks. Any java script options?

Come to think of it. Safari on my iphone can never display the image attachments either.

So I just realized something weird..
The attachments don't work when I'm at home, but they do at school. On the same computer.
Think it could have something to do with my internet?

You just have ****ed internet at home. I swear....

It could be some sort of built in firewall thing exclusive to that location. It seems really weird.

To give you an idea Jack, she often has to turn off the Wi-Fi then turn it back on to get it to work.

My computer acts similar. IE won't load somethings Firefox will.

Well I am bring this back from the dead. I seem to be unable to have the attachment window stay open now. I just switched to Chrome and it seems to dislike the attachment.

Sawyer

I still can't see the attachments. I just gave up on it. The way I have to do it is to click "open in a new tab" and see it from there.

I've had this issue when using Google Chrome. I just right click and tell it to either open a new window or tab and that works no problem.

I may have to try downloading a few other browsers at some point and seeing if I can get it to do the same thing. Google Chrome worked ok on here, attachments and all, but I deleted it because I still like FireFox better.

Sawyer
03-31-2009, 04:45 PM
It does that to me on the regular default theme.. :/

matredd

Chrome can do some neat stuff that firefox can't particularly with Java but Google is a bit scary with the privacy stuff.

*edit* I'm using the blue/gray theme.

RotorNutFD3S
03-31-2009, 04:48 PM
Yeah, that was another reason I quit using it.
