Is a 2011 WRX!! This thing is the nuts. Picked it up on Monday and have not been able to stop driving it since. It's a white sedan, wingless, base model without any of the extra crap that racks up the price. The car is so much fun to drive and I forgot all about that AWD feeling.
Ended up getting a pretty good deal on it too, it's nice no longer having to worry about any maintenance issues for the next few years. I loved the E36 but it was getting to the point where I hated spending money on it. In comparison to car payments it wasn't that bad owning the E36, it was just how those payments suddenly crept up on you! That car will be for sale shortly.
I never liked the newer Impreza's until this redesign came out with the boost in power (265 stock!) and the chunky fenders. I'm smitten with it. Only thing I'm looking to do with immediacy is add some chunkier sway bars but asides from that, I'm loving it stock! This is also one of the rarer model WRX courtesy of that tsunami that wiped out a huge amount of Japan. There were only a handful of these left to arrive here, most of them much more costly.
Here are some quick n dirty pics:

Nice! I feel like it needs a spoiler, though. I like the wrx's. Congrats on the purchase!

Thanks man. Only visual thing I will do is remove some of the badges on the trunk. There's currently 5 (6 if you include the suby emblem), which I think is a little overkill!

I didn't pay that much attention myself but after you brought it up yeah it would look a ton better without them all.

Nice car Jack! These cars are starting to grow on me! And I totally agree on removing some if not all badges on the trunk, 5 is quite a lot.

Yeah I talked to a guy at a car meet who had a sti with a full titanium exhaust, so he said at least, and it sounded great. Didnt sound like your run of the mill 4 cylinder.

Fresh white cars look great. I prefer the hatchbacks myself, but that was has some good lines on it.

Good god, you are making another non-WRX fan drool over here! I never noticed the new sedans, but yours is awesome - those flared fenders are sick. Nice color choice!

Jack!! How much does that little beastie cost to insure in the UK? I take it you are to stay with us for an extended time then? Listen I was buying everything that Clarkson every wrote on Amazon, because my EReader doesn't know who he is, and amongst all that drech, I ended up getting two identical stickers. All white standing in profile: I AM THE STIG!! It will be here most likely when you come for the rotors. LMK when that's going to be eh? Congrats on a hell of a nice car Jack!

You gotta hear it! This model WRX is nice and loud with a pronounced boxer rumble. Typically I'd do an exhaust too but there's genuinely no need this time round!

Or while it's still completely covered by Subaru!

I was a hatch fan too but this one was an exception for me!

Seriously man, I had no clue either. But then I was looking at the gti's and mini's before finding out the base model was the same price range. Researched 'em and discovered how much more awesome this model was than I realised and then pulled the trigger!

In the UK I wouldn't be able to insure this till I'm 25, I'd likely have to pay the value of the car as insurance. I'd rock the hell out of one of those stickers! Rotors - might be able to get 'em today after work if you're not too busy with 4th July celebrations.
I'll likely be in Atlanta till the end of the year at least. I'm not sure where I'll be in the world but you only live once and I can afford this car, so **** it! Gonna enjoy it while I can!

Nice ride!. I love Subarus and the sounds they make.
2011 is when they brought the sti wide body back to the WRX sedan. The fenders on '09 - '10 are lame on the non-sti's.
2011 is definitely the best looking and performing WRX ever.
Chip and exhaust really open up turbo cars. Look at Cobb Tuning for the ECU reflash (Access Port). I think warranty is still good if an authorized professionals do the install. Check out the dyno charts.

Congrats on the new car. I seriously want one too. AWD is so nice to have.... and the sound Subaru's make.... bliss.

I agree with you on all points there. The chip/downpipe will likely happen some time but I'm content with being super stock for a while! The price of the accessport is a little forbidding at the moment, the whole open source thing is pretty intriguing. Especially when simple stock reflashes are netting people 15 pounds of torque and better power curves!

I really like the wheels on your car. How wide are they?
Now all you need to do is get some rubber mud flaps and your set.

Congrats on the new ride.
I was rockin' an '06 WRX in Aspen White until last October. Getting an exhaust and Cobb reflash, like I had on mine, is definitely worth it, but not really necessary on these new ones right off the bat. I definitely still miss it on occasion, but I still get the turbo Subaru kick since my wife still has her Legacy GT.
Enjoy the new whip.

I liked the bug eyes, especially with the jdm lights. They had same wide-body fenders too. This Do Luck front bumper was hot.

The 2011 is my new favorite though. I bet some really nice body kits will be out soon.
