It is downright oppressive outside during the day.

When you have to wear a polo shirt, khaki pants, and dress shoes to work so you can drag body parts (car, not human) across parking lots in this heat, yeah, it sucks ***. I'd much rather we get to fall and things cool down. I can handle the cold, but heat slays me.

I think the evenings, especially the last week or so, have been much nicer, but during the day, with a black interior, it is still pretty spicy out there...

Man, forget you guys. Summer is the best time of year. I'd much rather be hot than cold, any day of the year. as far as I'm concerned, it's been beautiful the last couple of weeks

It's too hot out. Ask Sawyer, I complain about the humidity ALL the time.
I'll be wearing shorts in the wintertime! :D

It's not hot here!. Last year this time, I was in 115 degree weather with about 80% humidity. Oh wait, I grew up in that weather

It really has been pretty comfortable the past few weeks. Even in traffic on the way home I don't get too roasted.
Sadly, though, this is Georgia. We only have two seasons: winter and summer. We pretty much miss out on the two best ones. Maybe we'll get a real fall this year.

Fixed again
Having lived up north, we do not get Winter here. Not even close. I looooooove the south. banana

Once I move away from humidity, I probably won't be coming back.
To me, both summer and winter in the south are crappy. No snow in the winter, only cold rain which is miserable. During the summer, it's like walking into a sauna with the heat and the added humidity. :(

Living with snow is nowhere near as fun and it looks.
The only thing I hate about Atlanta summers is the lack of beach. Back home, it gets too hot I just go to ocean. One day I'll move back. It's about 5-10 degrees hotter as my moms house than it is here at any given time but that's fine. I had my share of winter... no more of that for me.

I disagree..
I lived in Michigan for 14 years and loved the winter. We had several years when we had over 3 feet of snow at once. It was like heaven for me!
But everyone has different preferences.

^^ Not cause she's my wife but I have to agree with her.
To me, if it's going to be cold, it better snow too. I miss being able to wake up and go snowboarding for the day. :(

Exactly.
What's the point of it being cold if there's no snow??

It's different when you have to go about day to day life in it. Sure, snow is fun as a kid but getting up 30 minutes or an hour earlier so you can make sure you can get out of your driveway, having to carry groceries in snow and walking across icy parking lots, not getting snow days... it snows, you go to work... all suck. I remember getting two feet of snow overnight and I had to be at work at 8am. I had to get help from the neighbors once to get out of my driveway by rocking the car back and forth to get it over the snow drift right behind it... fun! It's really weird when you're used to the southern view on snow and then you realize that it's no big deal if you live with it every year. I remember being on the 11th floor of my office, looking out the window and just watching it pour down. I was thinking "Back home, I would have been at home relaxing by now but instead... I have to sit here and watch this and then drive all the way home in it."
How about not being able to see your car under snow... yay!
Snow on the side of the road is gross. It gets all dirty and black. Then the salt gets on your shoes and on the bottom of your pants.
Well, at least I can drive in the snow like a pro. Oh, and small RWD cars are reeeeeeeally bad for the snow.
Y'all can have it. I'll take m Charleston beaches and be happy.

I was born and raised in the snowy frozen northeast.
Snow and cold frozen weather sucks balls! Its fun on Christmas Eve and when youre playing in it, skiing, boarding, riding snowmobiles etc otherwise....
Living with it blows! Oh yeah...and dont plan on having a really nice car UNLESS you drive it only 3 months a year! lol...

You can find some really great low mileage sports cars up north though... well.. as long as they are garaged. Salt is not so good. lol
Luckily, the dealership washed my car for free every Saturday morning so I avoided damage. That white buildup on your paint is grrrrrrooooooss.

Very true! I like to buy them on a cold snowy day when its sleeting too! :D Get a screaming deal in that environment.
Example: I picked up a low mile Vette in winter time for 1/3 of its normal value.

I lived in Utah for 7 yrs so I know all about the daily living in snow. IMO, it wasn't all that bad. Sure, there were those couple days a year when I had to walk to school cause I my driver side door was frozen shut! :jawdrop:

Just found out that my cousin's brand new house (just built, supposed to be moving in labor day weekend) in florida has a few inches of water in it from all the Fay rain...
Maybe hot and dry isn't so bad after all.
