well it was a 94 so yes, it had a 1.8. But the 1.8 was a from a 96 with a 99 head?? and some little things here and there internally. would have to go look.

Where's the ITA car? I just lost my ride in this one:

Too bad... it was quick for being a budget build.

Sold to a guy in TX who promptly repainted it, spent a chunk a cash on it, raced and won in it, then resold it. Don't where it is now. This one will be back in action next year, but probably not with a fresh engine.

I haven't needed a race car (nor a tow vehicle) in the last six years and I like it that way. ;) It makes paying for double daycare a lot easier too. Colin and I will be driving the 71 next year as we pool our resources with the owner. It might wear the car quicker, but three people pitching in should make a quick car. We did it with Colin's, so we can do it with this one. First on the list is a new cage.
I'm excited to see Matt and Simon both bringing some ITA cars to the local field. It will make ITA like the old days- more about racing and having fun, vs. the SM field where... :D

Matt- what model Corbeau seats are those? Where did you get them and the brackets? I'm starting to need something more supportive....

No, in black

They're $220 new, plus $80 in bracketry each, so brand new they'd be worth about $600. They were used for about a year, and the driver's side one was rubbing on the roll bar so it's got a little tear on the top outside corner but nothing that anyone half skilled with needle and thread couldn't fix in about 5 minutes.
I'd like $250 for the set. I think that's a pretty fair price. You're more than welcome to swing by before the Sonic meet this week to have a look.

They are corbeau forza seats. I believe they are mounted to the stock brackets.
