Wow thats a combination of my 2 favorite car companies, wowsers!
You almost had me? You never had me - you never had your car... Granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like you should. You're lucky that hundred shot of NOS didn't blow the welds on the intake! You almost had me?

^ Lol. The civic's diamond plate floor pan came un-riveted when he hit the second kit. That's what all those sparks were.
RB seems like just about the most illogical thing to swap into a Miata, but whatever. Guess it'd be good for a drift car.

There's an RB26 sitting at JHOT right now, I think they only want like $3500 for it.

waste of time/money/resourced to put that into a Miata...IMO

I agree 100%. I even think putting RBs in 240s is dumb. Especially if you drive a RB-powered car after driving an SR-powered one (regardless of the power difference, the RB car is so front heavy, it completely ruins the balance of the car). People knock SRs all day long, but those are the people that have probably never owned one. I'd still have one if the 240 I put it in wasn't such a POS.
But back on topic, it's too easy to boost a Miata. So swapping ANYTHING into it is kinda dumb. Don't get me wrong, I'd rock a LS1 Miata any day of the week...but I sure as hell wouldn't want to pay for the swap.

SR20's do suck, drive a CA 240 or a RB26 240 and get back with me.

I've driven CA18DET, KA24DE, SR20DET, RB20DET, and RB25DET 240s. One of the RB25 cars had a bigger turbo and easily makes as much power as a RB26. A friend of mine even went through an RB20, RB25, then finally an SR20 in one car. The RB25 made more power (duh), but the handling was way worse.
IMO the SR20 has the best mix of weight balance and power, especially when you consider the SR's aftermarket support.
Now for a pure drag car...I'd say RB26.
