Anyone listen to like 95.5 or some rap stations lately? lol. It's like the new rap is to sing about bust it babies and call it a love song. Where did the real gangstas go? Well yeah the best died but..even Three 6 is weak now lol...the end.

i would have to say that rappers are running out of stuff to rap about, thats why when one song comes out, it gets remixed like ten times. you dont see this with rock! hahahah

Well they are running out of stuff because no new rappers are living the stuff real rappers rapped about, kind of hard to rap about your life when you went to private school and your dad is white and still married to your mom in Beverly Hills.

lets round up all the rappers in the world and throw them in the ghetto, then wait about a couple months and see if there music gets better!

 Rap/Hip-hop hasn't been what it was for ages. I miss the stuff that used to play on the radio when I first started driving, I didn't listen to a lot of it all that much, but there was some that I did like. Just glad I have an iPod, satellite radio, and the ability to download. I don't listen to FM radio at all.

Radio itself sucks. Everytime I turn it on, it's the same song which just happens to suck.

You're just not listening to the right stuff. Type in Lupe Fiasco in Pandora, light up and sit back for a while. Some really classy stuff comes up. 95.5 the beat is no way to base your rap opinions, it's the same **** regurgitated for 6 months on end. I find that you have to learn to be able to listen to rap music properly, only this last year I think I've been able to hear what they're saying as words rather than noise now and it's led to a much greater appreciation of what they do.

The only thing I've heard in the last few years that comes close to the old stuff is some of the songs NAS has done. Otherwise, yeah, it's all garbage. Also, stuff like Atmosphere is OK, but there's really nothing like old Cypress Hill/NWA, etc.

I still love to listen to some old Kool Keith/Dr. Octagon/Dr. Dooom....that **** is HILARIOUS.

But yeah, I pretty much listen to metal now. There's a good reason I didn't have an antenna on my last car.

Hey... be glad. While driving back down through Chattanooga, I hit the hot 9 at 9. The number 1 hip hop song was about polka dot bikini's and "being in Miami, trick". STL stuff is MUCH worse too xP
