So, I picked up a 1994 Red R Package for my DD due to high gas prices and lack of A/C in my turbo miata. The car has no mods, all stock, and it still has the factory tape deck. It also has 123K. I probably will lower it and install some car stereo stuff, and leave it at that.

Hell yeah! Nice find! I'd like to do the opposite and find an NA to turn into a track rat. Car looks good!

I got it off autotrader actually. I paid 4500$. Yes R Package with A/C no PS. I checked it in MazdaEPC and its got a Torsen, and bilsteins, it has hollow spokes as well. The car had a new top installed a year ago and its been garaged for the entire year.

About the only option you could get was A/C. I miss my '95 R package, good find, nice car!

Really? Get a base model, add Bilsteins, torsen, and some RSpeed spoilers. Waalaa....'R model'.

Yeah, I didnt feel like doing a bunch of parts searching and installing. I paid a fair average price for it compared to other base models on the market in the same condition. Easy decision for me.

yeah but if you were driving a 1990 B package and that thing came out and not that much aftermarket was available yet, that was an awesome car.

Hey everybody, I am attempting to revamp my droopy eyeball vents and I cant seem to locate thin velvety tape to put inside the housing to exert the proper pressure against the"eye". Anybody know a good place to get such a rare tape?

Some people use tiny strips of the fuzzy side of velcro.

I thought about using the fuzzy side of velcro, decided it would add too much material. I need to find some thin self adhesive felt or something similar.
Also, just did a repair on some manual mirrors where the inner bolt rusted away and the mirror snapped off. Actually really easy to do, so if anyone needs help I'd be more than willing to show them. Cost me 12$ in parts and I have enough stuff left to do two more mirrors.

im pretty sure you could "shave" some material off the velcro if you gave it a shot.
