*POLL* Date for Club Photoshoot

Ok, lets try this again!
Here's a poll to decide which day we should have the photoshoot on!
Saturdays are usually pretty good for everyone so we'll see how that goes!
I would say to do it sooner rather than later.. But that's just me!

We'll leave the poll open until Saturday August 23rd. That way we have about a week and a half to get everyone's vote in.

There are people that go to synagogue on Saturdays oh and seventh day adventist too. Anyways my situation is that I work till 7 pm on Saturdays and would love to attend a photo shoot. If it can't be worked out, life will move on.

I think just about any of the Sept. dates would work fine. I was thinking the lower parking lot at the Georgia World Congress Center wcould make for some interesint pictures too....

I'm out of town that weekend. Missing the alignment tech day as well... and not thrilled about it. I was planning to get my car aligned that day. But, I hear there will be coupons for all attendees to use at a later date so I'm going to get one of those and make time to go up some weekday.

Yeees.... and he originally set it for the 13th. I made plans to go see my family the next weekend and everything was fine. We were told the S2K group wanted to join and couldn't do it on the 13th so it had to be moved to the 20th. It's Dean's shop so what is best for him is what we go with. I do wish there were options or something like someone from the S2K group just nicely asking us to compromise a date but oh well.... we would have gladly picked a date that worked for everyone involved, especially Dean, since this isn't something that will probably happen very often. A few other Miata owners on other boards and that we've talked to in person may not be able to make the new date either.

The hospital parking deck is quite nifty, the pics of me in the intro thread are from there. I don't know any cool downtown ones. The world congress centre one sounds pretty cool.

OK kids... here is a fire to light your asses.....


I got in touch with a friend of mine who works at S3 magazine. In each issue they do a "team/club profile" spread. I asked how they go about selecting who they are going to put in there was told that they need a submitted group photo. I'd be willing to bet that if we can get our asses in gear and get even a simple group shot, we can schedule a nice photo shoot with a good photographer and get in the mag.

Let's get this going!

Since all the import magazines are based out of California, to get your car featured is harder on the east coast, you have to make it worth the expense; not saying your car isn't.
