Gawd dammit Russ.

If youve seen a newcoming suspension company called DGR trying to start up on a few forums, Do yourself a favor and dont do business with them.

I am so sick of this guys ****.

DGR High Performance Suspension coilovers - NASIOC

the DGR rep and Russ from Chaser Aero are one and the same. just look at him samefagging.

my favorite part?

"DGR is a new company on the market and figured I'd pass on my thoughts...I have a miata, but they serve almost everyone; especially Subaru. It's nice to see a good review, so I figured as a vendor (not of DGR though, there are a few) I'd pass this on...

I bought a set for my Miata, shipped super quick. They were on my door step before I could even ask for tracking info. I went with the softer "Street" set up (8k/ 5k springs)."

So. Much. Bull****.

I didnt buy anything from em this time, Im just not gonna let his *** sneak up on anyone while practicing dishonest business if I know about it.

He was "let go" from Chaser Aero once before, and kept shilling their products and eventually started repping them again. Do not believe anything these guys say. as far as i am concerned, DGR is ChaserAero. same town, same guy, same ****, different day.

The guy is a total weasel, and since I got raped hardcore in the wallet, Im sounding the bull**** alarm.

Actually it's quite funny how Russ operates. He uses many screen names, Chaser, Russ, Falcon365, MX5, DGR, and I'm sure there are many more that I'm not aware of. Think about it, he's really got a good thing going. He has screwed so many people that he has no friends, so by having all those screen names he's able to pat himself on the back, tell himself how wonderful he is, give his own products rave reviews, and kiss his own ***. No bad for a one man band. :D

I have bought and received so much stuff from Russ at Chaser, never had a problem with him or chaser, most of the problems were because the people who paid for stuff cancelled their orders because it had been two weeks and they have not gotten it yet when the page originally stated it was a PRE order. just because you cant pay attention, doesnt mean that its his fault. So say what you will but the parts sold are legit and true i have it all, i talk to Russ all the time, he is no theif, or scammer, just because he has a different name on forums doesnt do anything.

everyone can think what they want I suppose, I have bought from and sold to him, no problems. YMMV

My experience did not match either of yours.

Indeed, people can think and believe what they want. I bet youd think what I think if you dealt with what I dealt with.

That has nothing to do with what anyone can google and see as shady business.

search Russ, DGR, ChaserAero, and you will see a myriad of car forums where he has come on as chaser, pretending to be unrelated to DGR, and posts a glowing review of the DGR coilovers. He has cited prompt shipping, good service, referring to DGR as legit, and loudly (almost desperately) declaring himself to not be related to them in business.

These products were, if im not mistaken, advertised initially as being evaluated by unbiased third party members. If he would lie and "review" them himself while pretending to be uninvolved, how can any data that comes forward on these parts be taken seriously?

Doesnt mean anything? You kidding me?

Hard to say. All I can say it is for sure is Russ' continued presence. I wonder if an Admin could verify via IP whether or not this is sockpuppetry for us? I have no idea if the Chaseraero on here is still Russ or if it is indeed another person chaser has employed in place of russ.

This link is to the better business bureau and is public information. This report was updated on 2 / 6 / 2011. If Russ, DGR, Miata5, or Falcon365 are affiliated with Chaser in anyway, shape, or form.................well I'll let you draw your own conclusions, you already know mine.

I do find it odd DGR has been logged in several times and still has not posted once on this board. If my company or I was being talked negatively I would want to try to defend my company / self.

Me and Russ have been discussing this over PM, and things have been very civil, very smooth. He has said to me that he has been trying to distance himself from his previous employer in the marketplace and that in his methods he made mistakes in judgement. He copped up to poor initial judgement and helped me to better understand the behind the scenes goings on from our past dealings. I cant say Im completely satisfied, as I am a man whose trust is hard to earn, but Im going to say that I was too harsh and too quick to judge. In fact, I will probably quiet down about the whole thing, and would like to apologize to pretty much everybody for showing my *** on this subject.

time will tell if I was wrong in whole, and for Russ and the miata community, I sincerely hope that I am.

I'll post up, since Miata5620 asked why I hadn't...

I wanted to just stay quiet. Initially I wanted to let a month or so pass to gain some ground on going on my own. I figure it'll take years to get that "monkey chasing me" off my back. I'll just have to take what I learned and turn that around to positive experiences for customers. So far, I got my foot in the door with Subarus and Miatas. The Subaru market has been very good for me; I am shipping ahead of schedule and I should have the first real reviews shortly following. Miata community is still a little sore from the company I worked for. I don't want to say anything publicly and I really just want them behind me.

I'm open to questions, but anything involving my ex-employment I wont say in public. I have a lot of proving myself to do. I think my actions will speak louder than anything I can say.

Send me a set. I'll give you an opinion, I'm not afraid of a little controversy. AutoX and MTN run season is just starting up down here.

This one?

I have 2 sets out now, and a 3rd will be an NC kit in about 2 weeks. I just can't afford to give away anymore!! I need to sell some to make some money back!!

I've received about 38 emails saying pretty much the same thing.

If I didn't need to make a living...
p.s. Me not answering is me not saying no...

at least that answer would have been nice. Instead of letting it glide down the list being ignored.

I also have been in a pm conversation with Russ and have come away with much the same feelings. He asked that I call him so we can discuss this whole thing and I agreed to do so sometime this week. Hopefully this problem can be worked out and he truly is no longer affiliated with Chaser. If Russ is being truthful I'm willing to let this go. Both Russ and Chaser obviously will try to put the blame on one another, but after finding what Chasers BBB standing is I am having some second thoughts as to who is to blame for the deceptive sales techniques to all the motoring enthusiast who have purchased parts from them.

Bob,

You know whats funny, the BBB accreditation can be had (given an A) for ~$200-300. It was actually dicussed. Disney World I believe has an F rating as well. One of those two companies earned it though. ;-)

I look forward to our chat.

...and yes, I am truly no longer affiliated - I am busting my but to survive as a sole proprietor. I keep having to tell my wife, "we'll be fine..." and hoping its the truth.

You weren't ignored, I just didn't have a decision yet...I was pondering, looking at sales, expenses, etc. to see if I could "afford" it. Right now I can't...I have a hefty UPS bill coming and a LOT of kits arriving soon and ordering soon.

After the correction to the price of my single "blem" headlight cover. I have to say my dealing with Russ/Chase wasn't objectionable.

Thanks, I tried to do my best and come up with the best solution for you. I would've rather seen a full refund, but something something pulling teeth.

PM me a number we can talk on during business hours.

Just call my business line; (855) 5-DGRUSA or the local number is (410) 569-3407 (they both ring at the same number). I'm here 9a-5p. Home office. ;-) (we may get interrupted by a 3 year old little girl)
