I know Caleb, he had the NOPRO widebody NB. I actually called him about this muffler, it's a 2" pipe and it's one of the first Enthuza mufflers ever made. Jenn might be pick it up :)

Let me know if she doesn't get it Mike. Kris is interested in it as well.
I miss Caleb's car... :(

I'd love to get it, too. Dude says it's 9 years old though! Are they made that well? Or is it going to start falling apart any day now?

From his email reply:
"It is about 9 years old, I bought it right after I got the car @ the beggining of 2000. "

That would be right as Caleb's car was a '99.

Yeah. I just didn't realize he had it that long. The car was very well cared for. I don't think anything on it was in even slightly bad shape.

Yeah. You could eat off that car every time I saw it.

he said his dad bought it for the car right before Caleb took ownership of the car...and he took it off shortly after. Looks to be in excellent condition. Find out soon if Jenn is getting it or not. I know it's not any bigger than the stock MSM, but the stock MSM muffler has terrible crush bends that reduce the piping to about 1.5" right between the mid-pipe flange and the muffler itself. At least having the 2" mandrel bend will help...and probably have a nice sound.

Is the MSM muffler any better than a stock 99 muffler?

Well, I met up with Caleb today and bought the exhaust. Really nice guy, too. I installed it tonight and it sounds awesome. I'll post up a couple pics tomorrow after I wash the car. Maybe I'll put up a vid, too.

He doesn't have a Miata anymore, so I kinda doubt he'd be that interested.

Yeah, no more Miata. His was a beauty though:

ugly imo. I think if your going to put that kind of money into something, just do it right. Exposed bolt/rivets/ seams doesn't do it for me. Take it to a body shop have it filled in and painted the right way
what. spoiler. is. that.
want. so. hard.

That's all the NoPro body kit. His is the only Miata in the US with it.
That kit was not designed with molding-in in mind. Molding is also a bigger pain the *** to deal with on a car. It's why I'm taking my flares off and redoing them with rivets. I'm tired of all the different materials (metal, fiberglass, and plastic) heating and cooling at different rates and causing the mold to crack. Maybe great on a show car, but not on a car that is driven and exposed to the weather. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the way it looks, but it just can't stand the elements.

^^^^ Amen.
I really hate seeing cars that have molded in body parts. They always crack.

does anyone have experience putting installing body kits?

I think rivets/cap screws etc etc look more race inspired anyway...which fits the flared look anyway IMHO.

A little bit, but I've never done molding....for the exact reason I mentioned above.

I came across this when looking into some of the LSx swap options. It's either awesome or hilarious. I can't figure it out. It could be pretty sweet if he pulls it off. I think it had an LT4 in it and now he's putting in an LS6 after the bodywork.
